azurite: (grr)
My flight to leave back to Oakland is at 9:55. Gotta be at the airport by 8:55ish, and that means leaving by 8:30, and waking up by... well, now. :P

I already have a lot to do when I get back:
* Update Anzu's journal (hehe, I came up with things for her to have done and everything)
* Sort my bookcase and closet to accomodate my new schtuff
* Play video games... I'm in withdrawl here
* Duel, deck construct, and plot for "Prophecy Girl"
* Finish up WDKY9 and start sending *everything* over to my loverly betas
* Start packing up stuff, since Baba wants me to start bringing things down as early as Passover (Apr. 10)

Ugh, we just fed the dogs again, but before we did, there was a dead crow on the front lawn. I've never seen anything like it, and it was quite disturbing, kinda scary, and really sad. All the crows in the trees were looking down at us and cawing. ;_; I think it wasn't 100% dead yet, either; one of its eyes was still open. And something was funny about its butt; I wonder if it was a girl-bird and had an egg or something?

Still, not a good omen when I'm about to fly out of Burbank, ya?

Not enough room on my blank CD to burn the "Know Who I Am" (Goo-goo Dolls/Iris) Yu-Gi-Oh AMV. It's quite good. :D But now I have the "Hero" (Creed) Kaiba AMV, which ROX MY SOX. There aren't enough YGO AMVs out there. I might just give up on the uncut/Japanese DVDs of YGO, since the HK rips are *so* sucky... Yeah, you do get to see everything that remains unchanged, but... Well, unless someone can point me at Japanese-source DVDs, instead of HK ones, I'll gladly buy those. The ones like Edo works with.

I finally crammed everything into my bag... I just hope I can get through airport security okay. What's depressing is knowing that when I get to Oakland, no one will be there to greet me... *sniff sniff*

Anyway, so I have the rest of today and tomorrow off, but I work Wednesday. And despitre that being the day Eva and Steph have planned a get-together, there's no way around it for me; I can't switch shifts with anyone when I only have one shift the entire week! I need the money, anyhow-- moving is going to be expensive, and Baba's suggesting I don't have a part-time job while I'm down here, especially if I have a full unit workload. I don't know, for all you college students, what's the workload like, and do you juggle a part-time job? What are your hours like?

What else?

Here's something that's been on my mind for a while, now.

Why are YOU reading this? I have LJ friends, and then friends with Xangas or whatever who stop on by to read LJs... and those without any LJs or Xangas or whatsits at all, and they just want to say hi. But then there's people that SOMEHOW know about this... I don't know how. It's not in my AIM Profile (anymore, anyway. Someone hacked it during XMas). It *is* linked on my FFnet profile, but you'd have to know my penname and where I post to know where *that* is. What I want to know is why so many people from my work and my old high school read this. Okay, maybe not SO MANY, but apparently people who could NEVER stand me find it fulfilling to read this.

Why?

I'm talking about the people who I hated, they hated me, it was a mutual hate-spree. Why do they read my journal? How the hell do they even know about it?

It's not one of those things where I'll get mad at someone or whatever; this is the Internet, it's public domain, yadda yadda-- but if you're dumb enough to think I'll post something say, worthy of blackmailing me with, on here, you're sadly mistaken. Yeah, I do post a LOT of stuff on here that I don't talk about, and stuff that bothers me... I'm a very frank and honest person; it's who I am. But I'm NOT stupid. If I post it here, I frankly DO NOT care who knows about it. What disturbs me is WHO knows. I know people who have me friends-listed read this; I know people who are my IRL friends read this. Key words there being FRIENDS.

Why would people that hate/dislike/don't really know me want to read this?

Well? SPEAK UP! I'm talking to you!

[livejournal.com profile] x_hella_x has an icon of Kaiba looking shocked and saying "You want to lick WHAT off my naked body?" It's just too perfect.

Another thing I have to do when I get home-- make more icons!! Upload Souten! DO STUFF!

More from x's LJ--
Pegasus: Hee hee! I'm a VILLAIN!
Kaiba: Forever trust in who we are... and NOTHING else matters

^_^

Marik is actually quite sekshii when he's non-Yami and half-naked. On top, I mean. I mean naked on top! I mean not wearing a shirt!

GAAH! YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!

*wanders off to find bishie pix of Marik*

Damn, it's cold back here in SF. But at least there aren't dead crows on the sidewalk.

o_O I got SOOOO MANY reviews for Prophecy Girl and TLC, I was shocked. Then again, my Outlook is weird, and I do get duplicate copies of FFnet reviews. Does anyone know how to delete duplicate messages in OE?

I made myself a sign saying "BETAS ARE WONDERFUL, AREN'T THEY?" and listed Witchling and Atlantis' emails. So I don't forget. Once I'm done with all this email, I'll be sure to work on WDKY9 and send it their way.

Have I mentioned lately that I have the coolest friends EVER!?

While in SoCal, I got:
* lots of well-wishings
* plenty of people tackling/glomping/biting/smooshing/saying hi online
* a couple of phone calls

First, Steph IMd, and I rarely hear from her, what with her classes and my work. It's always fun to see her drop by with Tobey (I think one time she was at the theater with her Dad). I wanna see her and Eva again soon! ^_^
Speaking of Eva, she sent me this wicked cool package called the "SoCal" survival kit. It has all this nice stuff in it-- the little things you'd never think of. Classic and simple! Eva's got her own trademark style! An example of some of the unexpected goodies:
* "A bandaid to mend hurt feelings" -- and still usable, since the adhesive hasn't been taken off!
* "A pencil to list everything you have to be thankful for... and to bubble in questions when you have to take finals" - LOL. I was cracking up when I read this tag.

Eva also warns me not to say "hella" in SoCal, as they have something against it. o_O Thanks, Eva. I actually didn't know that... I've heard people don't "get it" but come on! It's HELL-A. o_O Whatever. ^_^ I guess I need adjustment tips. I've never actually hung around any LAers. Or SoCalers. Whoever they are.

Okay, so for my birthday, I still have no ideas. Mom has been mentioning it more than I have.

She suggested a pizza party, and I like the sound of that. Pizza, soda, chips, whatever. Anyone have an idea for a when or a where? Or a what to do afterwards? I'm seriously brain-dry for this. I don't even know what I want.
