Where have all the summoned skulls gone???

Don't you hate it when you know you have something, but you can't remember where it is? And of course, you look in the most logical place-- and the next most logical, and so on and so forth, but you still can't find it, and it bugs the living hell out of you until you want to pull all your hair out and convert to the barren lifestyle where you have nothing to lose!?

*sigh* I've been working on a Duel Monsters page for Darkness Rising-- cards used in the anime and their equivalents in the Japanese and English TCGs, and any changes made from the original anime to the dub. And some of the cards have got me thinking "Hey, don't I have that card?" (like where Stealth Ninja is concerned) or thinking "Don't I have two of that card?" (Summoned Skull). And so I go through my Yu-Gi-Oh card box, and sort everything out by card type (Monster, Effect, Trap, Spell, Ritual, Fusion) and then by sub-type (Fairy, Pyro, etc.) I still can't find Stealth Ninja or my other Summoned Skull. It pisses me off. I know I had a Yugi Starter Deck a long time ago; I gave it back to Joe, and now he's not even *INTO* YGO anymore! But what happened to my other cards? I *swear* I had a Stealth Ninja that I got from a Dark Crisis or Invasion of Chaos booster. And some of my other IOC and DCR cards are in my box (Blasting the Ruins and Vilepawn Archfiend, for example), so where...??? >_< Damnit!

Same goes for my Japanese Thousand-Bible cards; I *swear* I have an English 'Bite Shoes' (In Japanese, they're "Red Shoes") and an English "Time-Bomb Bug" (or something like that). I don't think I ever had a Winged Messenger in English, nor a Spike Head (pretty sure *his* name got changed), but... o_O I don't know. Where is this card amnesia coming from?

I need to get more card-holding binder pages; I took all the Barbie Collectible (don't laugh! They'll be worth a fortune someday!) cards from there and put them into a small box. But I have more YGO cards than slots, so it sounds as though a trip to CCC is in order. But it's rainy outside... so no rollerblading. :P Phoo.

So I'm looking for any stray cards, and I come across my two old shoeboxes FULL of cards of all kinds. I mean Bicycle, Hoyle, UNO, Lisa Frank, Barbie, Magic: The Gathering, and even Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers! O_O! The nostagia~! I had such a crush on the actor that played Jason... and the one that played Tommy, too. <3_<3 Those were the days. I actually went as the Pink Ranger one Halloween. I was TEH SHIZ!

I also have a huge amount of trick cards, Toy Story collectible cards, Lion King cards, and Burger King bird collection cards. o_O Ya'll remember when Burger King actually had a COOL Kid's Club, with prize packages and member letters and everything? Nowadays the industry is so cheap. :P

Speaking of cheap, I hate the California government.

I just got denied for *every* in-state grant. Cal Grants A, B, and C. All ineligible. This FUCKING SUCKS.

*sigh* I wish I had some ice cream to binge on and a boyfriend's shoulder to cry on. This REALLY SUCKS.

No more brain juice

GAAAH. It's one thing to be out of story ideas-- that sucks, but you can always go back and look over your old work and edit and revise it (like I'm doing with WDKY8 now) or finish the unfinished stuff (like I always do... er, sometimes do). But what about when you have no ideas for your birthday?

The date: April 14th (Wednesday)

The age: 19 (nothing special)

The problems:
* Who will be in town?
* Who cares?

The possibilities:
* Metreon - Portal One (problem: expensive, needs 8 ppl. minimum. Plus, only 1 hour)
* RTA (problem: minimum 10 people)
* Giant's Game vs. MIL. (problem: great seats are expensive, and Mom doesn't think she can get off)
* Some show [ymphony, musical, whatever] (problem: expensive, short notice)
* Punchline comedy club (problem: no minors??)
* Hooter's (problem: too tacky, might not be able to do reservations)
* Some factory (problem: big distance, also depends on the factory... chocolate factory? Jelly Belly factory?)

I know for sure I'd like a pizza party, but where? And when? If not the day of, what about the 17th?

*sigh* I HAVE NO IDEAS. Am I really being too picky? I consider the following things:
- When can I do it? Will people be able to come?
- Will it be expensive? Who will be paying for what?
- Will it be fun? Will it be MEMORABLE?

People are probably going to be working or on spring break. If worse comes to worse, you know what? I'll dish out the $50 and go by myself to the Giant's game. That's a horribly depressing thought, but... I really have no better ideas.
