LOG 0.01a
Well, I finally got around to finishing the base of the project-- it didn't take as long to WORK on it as I thought, but getting the base was a pain in the neck. Oy! But I'm a beginner, these things take time-- and it will be SO WORTH IT when I am done.
Right now, I'm working on adding all the vitals-- the things that MUST be included in the project. From there on out go all the accessories and extras... I'll have to do more research and sketching in order to get everything right. As it stands right now, my first "essential" looks a bit weird, but I'm sure with some help, I'll be able to get everything looking nicely.
The tutorial I was using gets a bit confusing later on, but hopefully I'll find other places with the necessary information so I don't end up with a project that's inverted in on itself.
[OT: I'm hungry...]
I remember when I tried to intiate a project similar to this one a long time ago-- I just didn't have the commitment and know-how to keep going. And I was impatient, so when I finally assembled it, it WAS inverted in on itself, which just made all the effort seem for nothing. Quite depressing. But now, I'm feeling creative, determined, ambitious, even! This'll be the first one of its kind! I don't plan on wasting time on dumb stuff, because someone will catch onto my idea eventually, and that's why I'm being so vague with this.
I was worried about the color schema being a problem, but with Photoshop, things are simple-- I can adjust whatever I'm editing at the time to the number of colors necessary. So far, I haven't even HAD to worry about having more than 256, which is fantastic. :) I'm glad I have a decent amount of resources at my disposal, even if it's for the more unncessary parts of the project.
Eventually I'll drag Gina into this, and we'll complete our research at the Secret Location. Which should be fun... I hope. I'll do that once I get my paycheck! ;)
That's it for now, I suppose. I'm happy things are working out, for the most part. Maybe later on I'll post project screenshots!
