Whee, so I'm home. Been home since... Uh, I didn't check the time. But I got off work early. Played a nice 3 stages of DDR, but I'm unhappy with getting Bs. It was only one song (one was an A with a full combo-- yay!... but one was a 5-step with a C. DRAT!) but it was a decent enough workout. Why is it no one ever seems to play the games at the 1000 anyway? They're cheap...

Work-- only from 6-9pm, but it seemed like longer. Jennifer wasn't too much of a stickler, but she's really QUIET, and hard to hear sometimes. She didn't get on anyone's case for heels being too high, or too much jewelry though-- so I'm glad. She explained some things people didn't get-- like breaks. If you work 3 hours or less, no breaks. 3.5 to 4.5 hours is 1 10 minute break, 4.5 to 5.5 hours is 2 10 minute breaks, and and anything above 5.5 is a 30 minute "lunch" and 2 10 minute breaks-- all paid. This coming week, my schedule is as follows:
* Sunday 3-9pm (6 hours! WHOO! I get the works!)
* Monday 2:30-6:30 (4 hours, 1 break) - crap though! I might miss something good at Anime FX! NIICHAN, IF YOU'RE READING THIS, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T SHOW "FUMOFFU" UNTIL THE END!!!!! ;_;
* Wednesday 6-10:30 (4 hours, 1 break). So now you know when I'll be busy! And I make it a habit to leave for work an hour beforehand, especially if I'm taking Muni. Just so everyone knows when I will/won't be home/online.

Sad thing is, Mark isn't going to be there for most of the days I'm working, save for 15 minutes on Sunday. =P Me, I'll be working Concession and Ushering. The first part of that training was today, and I mostly swept the concession area, wiped the counters, and helped get drinks. I was so nervous when all those people started coming in! ;_; Thursday I'll learn to work the registers-- it looks simple enough, since everything's push button, but I have to memorize combos so I don't give someone a too-large drink for a small combo. It's so awkward being behind the counters and have customers looking at you like "Why aren't you working a register?" and I'm all "Eek, I'm new!"

Anyway, so I left around 8:40-- passed by David and Mark (*swoon*) in the box office and headed to get some din-din at Taco Bell. It was kind of hard maneuvering a drink, a taco, and all my stuff, but I pulled it off up until 12th or so avenue-- yeah, I walked from Taco Bell on 6th! Not THAT much of an accomplishment, but hey, it's exercise and a brisk, cool walk in my own neighborhood. I stopped by Cyberhunt (no intimidating people out front this time-- yay) and asked the guy about an account-- everything sounds like a good deal (for $50, I get something like 20 hours. Not 50 hours, but still, a pretty good deal considered, right?). No Lonnie though; if he'd been there, I a) would have spotted him, with his long hair, or b) he'd have heard me. I have a distinct voice, neh? When I mentioned I wanted to play Ragnarok (though it seems like I can do everything there-- maybe even work on my Project!?) these two guys, one tall black dude, and one short, rotund white kid were like "Oh yeah, we'll teach you how to play." The black guy made it sound like he'd dominate the game until it bowed to his very commands. o_O Who knows? I'm not the hardcore gamer type...

Oh, as for co-workers, there's a delightful variety--
* Maria, who likes a lot of the same things I do
* Carolina, who goes to Academy of Art and just exudes an air of "cool"
* Mark, who is hott
* David, Anna, and Claudine, who I all know from school, though not PERSONALLY

My left hand got really hot by the time I got home-- to the point where it felt like I burned it. But I didn't, since I was only handling cold drinks the whole time at the theater. So I thought I might be having a progressive allergic reaction to the kiwi from the tart on Sunday, ORRRR it could have been something in my Tacos-- and I wouldn't have been surprised. But it's gone away since then-- stupid Kaiser put me on hold for so long that I gave up and tried not to think about it. My hand still feels weird, like it's having hot and cold flashes, along with numbness, but... I took Benadryl, so I hope everything'll be okay.

Worked on the |Project| a little bit, messing around in Photoshop-- but I still need some help from outside resources. Getting certain, pivotal parts to work is taking some doing.

Augh, the Benadryl is kicking in... I'm getting sleepy. I'll post one more thing in a community, then I'm off for the night-- and probably most of tomorrow too, since I have to do the laundry and then meet people at 5:30 tomorrow. Have a good night, everybody! :)

I don't know why my title is the title that it is, it just is. Accept it and move on. :) Why am I even UP this early? The Bendadryl knocked me out good-- around 9 hours and 45 minutes ago! Shouldn't I still be sleeping? o_O

I had a very strange dream-- whether it's just the current trend, something I ate yesterday, or due to the Benadryl (it could be!) this is just... weird. Someone (and I think it was Eva) was trying to become like a fashion designer or something-- something in the fashion industry. She was having a coffee or something at a cafe that looked strangely like the New Marvin's restaurant (that since has closed in Petaluma). Jason Alexander (George from Seinfeld) was there, in a clown suit or something, and Eva was amused by his antics. I slept a bit longer after I originally had this dream, so it's a little bit foggy right now. I might remember more later.

Got Fontographer to work! It's really old (version 4.1) but I can live with it, especially if I can make fonts now! :) Whee! I've got several hours before I'm even going to THINK about leaving the house to go to my laundry (blanketsm towels, sheets... oh joy!) and then, even after that, several more before I have to worry about meeting Steph, Eva, Tobey, and Jackson on 25th/Geary for our Rondevous! ;)

Ugh, I should work on the awards now while I'm in the mood. But the body of the award is kind of boring looking-- I was thinking about putting animated GIFs up there, maybe ones I could make of scenes from the winning fanfiction. =P At least if I did that, the list might not be so mad at me for taking long! I'm working on it!!

Okay, back to figuring out how to work Fontographer... and eventually checking my email and such. Laters...

The little things have been getting to me lately. Here's a list of ways to piss me off:

I DETEST PEOPLE WHO:
* Send one-liners to mailing lists
* Send anything to a mailing list that was meant for a single person
* Ask questions that have been answered upteenthousand times in the archives
* Respond to said questions AGAIN, rather than directing aforementioned Idiot to archives
* Are stupid enough to think spammer bots actually READ email telling them that they suck
* Pair Ranma with Urd from Ah Megami-sama!
* Write fanfictions that are not only grammatically incorrect, but also implausible within the storyline/for the characters (exempting humor or satirical/dark fics)
* Don't remember to press ENTER when they format fics
* Keep trying to send attachments or HTML files to TXT-only MLs-- so that the [Message cannot be displayed].
* Type in AzN or Elite capitals all the DAMN time
* Write with a bright font (PINK!) on an impossibly light background (Yellow!, Green!, Aqua!)
* Are Show-offs of any sort-- except maybe hot biker guys that pop wheelies... ;-)~~ (I suppose this includes braggarts)
* Make Mamoru out to be some unfeeling, cold-hearted bastard (unless he's got good reason to be, it's an AU/AR, or takes place in one of the seasons when he actually *is*) so Usagi goes running into the arms of [Random male alternate].
* Post fanfiction that just PLAIN SUCKS-- as in, no beta, no formatting, no spell-check, no NOTHING!
* Don't call or show up when they say they will
* Say "Hey this [tastes/smells] gross, TRY IT!"
* Complain all the time about not having/not being able to do something-- GET UP OFF YOUR BUTT AND DO IT! (Admittedly, a lot of people complain-- I'm one of them, but not to the point where it's repetitive)
* Do drugs. Any kind. Druggies suck.
* Blow smoke in my face. (Cigarette, cigar, whatever)
* Try to make really difficult things seem easy, quickly (when they aren't, and doubtful ever WILL be)
* Don't explain things thoroughly, and leave you there with your head in your @$$
* Take forever to give you something back/return something they owe you
* Bitch, whine, and rant about everything on the planet-- JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN.

Hah, I'll probably come up with more later. What pisses YOU off?
