You know, I really didn't want to wake up this afternoon. I was having this great dream, so great it didn't FEEL like a dream at all, and it came out of nowhere, because it had nothing to do with what I'd done or seen earlier in the day. I go into it, and a weird dream I had during the Wedding Weekend .

Michelle was alive. Somehow, she'd been brought back to life. It wasn't that she never died, she HAD, but she was BACK, and to me, that was all that mattered. And I guess it was getting close to Christmas time, because when I got out of my bedroom (was I sharing with Michelle, was she living elsewhere, or was she in the sunroom?) she, Mom, and a Surprise Guest surprised ME with having a brand-new "fresh" fake Christmas tree all set up, waiting to be decorated!

The Surprise Guest was someone I hadn't even given THOUGHT to recently-- Jason Cunningham. WHY!? WHY I ASK MYSELF, WHY, I ASK MY BRAIN! WHY?! I do not know. Of all the guys from my torrid past, it wasn't HIM on my mind recently (if you have to ask, it was Chris Garcia, who I *do* miss). Apparently he'd run into my mom or something, and helped her get groceries? I don't know, the two of them seemed like friends. Maybe his dad was a friend of my mom's (in the dream)?

But then my phone rang at 12:09, and I was shaken out of my stupor. Damnit, I wanted my sister back!

Wedding weekend, I had a pretty weird dream, too. It was set in an auditorium that looked like a cross between Presidio Middle School's and Washington's... weird. Wendy (last year's battalion CO) was leading everyone in the pledge of allegiance, but it was different from the one I knew-- a new one had been established, and I didn't know it. So I was leaning over to Eva, who was diagonal and behind me, reading off the paper she had. It had a lot of GOD written on it. Just like that, all caps, bold and everything. (^^; [livejournal.com profile] amandagrace much?) But the pledge wasn't REQUIRED or anything-- and a lot of people were sitting down and talking amongst themselves. For once, I was so lost, I didn't CARE. (Normally I'm very bitchy when people disrespect their country by not pledging; I've even gotten into a few arguments. I've never said you have to say 'God,' but yeesh, respect all the people that shed blood for you to be so ignorant!) Oh, and guess who was there? Chris Garcia. He was sitting a few rows behind me, to my right, I think.

It gets weirder. Mr. Rose, my former math (if you can call it that) teacher was there, and he said something to me about being "in trouble" or wrong for where I was sitting-- I wasn't supposed to be with this group, or with this class? He was passing out this old POW I'd done (color photocopies to all the students), and I was embarassed because it was so old. When I sat down, I was feeling really suicidal (NOTE: You guys know me, I'd never be THAT stupid. Someone would have to drive me to the edge of despair and beyond to even get me remotely close to suicide) and was contemplating killing myself (heaven knows HOW) with this little screwdriver on my keychain. It was like the one I had from my glasses-repair kit, attached to my keychain, that I broke when I was at Marine World. Only this one's base was white. I looked behind me at Chris, or Chris was in front of me now, and he seemed worried. I smiled back (timidly) and put the keychain down.

Then Dad woke me up.

I neglected to mention that at the wedding, Shaina caught the bouquet. Shaina, btw, is Brooke's sister. She was also directly in front of me, and while I was only standing amongst the girls because I thought it'd be fun, I would have caught the damn thing if it hadn't been for Shaina's uberlong arm extending a good foot and a half backwards! Damn gymnastic skills! o_O Har har.

I have work today from 6-9pm... training. I'm worried since Alice (my trainer from last time) said today's trainer (Jennifer) is really straight-edged. o_O I hope she won't measure my shoes or anything, since I really don't want to blow money getting a pair of patent leather shoes just because my existing pair has heels that MIGHT be a half-inch too tall. o_O I wonder if it's possible to sand half an inch of heel OFF? I typically do that without thinking, whenever i wear boots... have you guys SEEN the heels of most of my shoes? Worn into the ground, they are. I'm going to leave at 5pm... I'll get ready around 4:30. Right now, my flannel is comfortable.

Ugh, Mom and I made the compromise to do OUR dishes when we were done using them, but she did her stupid dinner thing the other night with *GAAAARY* and didn't wash any of her plates! And I'm not going to, no matter how stubborn or ornery she gets, because SHE AGREED TO! I'll do my dishes, but I'm sick of being her Cinderella! I just need a more plausible argument than "I've BEEN doing my part in this household!" Sheesh.

Oh yeah, SOS (Save Our Sailors) got a mention in the latest NewType USA. Not to already mention that I don't LIKE NewType, but they don't deserve it. Most SM fans remember the whole Prince Uranus ordeal. I admit, for a while, I thought SOS was responsible for getting SM back on the air after its extended vacation... but I SERIOUSLY DOUBT they had a single thing to do with Cartoon Network choosing to air it. Besides that, why mention it now, when SM is OFF Cartoon Network's airwaves? Sailormoon Stars is in the air as we speak... shiz, DISNEY releases their direct-to-video dubs faster!

AUGH! And now my desperate desire for the SM Season 1 and 2 DVDs has been quelled- at least a little. They cut an entire episode out of the SMR season, but they're still marketing the whole package as "uncut." Yeah, it's more uncut than the dub, but considering how butchered the dub was, ANYTHING is more uncut than that!

Queen Beryl for Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon is being played by Aya Sugimoto... she's hot. Where have I heard her name before, though? o_O (http://www.sponichi.co.jp/entertainment/kiji/2003/09/14/05.html) Woah, and apparently she's a nude model, too. o_O

Yikes, I've been letting this sit here for too long. >_> It's a stewed LJ entry. I'll get back to my email now, then blast for work in a half hour. :P Mata na.

Actually, they didn't do a BAD job on the subbing! And I even checked a million and one times and they didn't cut a single thing out! NOTHING! Sure, swear words were dumbed down, but it was, over-all, an A rating as far as it goes.

AND SEASON 2 IS OUT?! *runs to find it*

Gah, Dub. The horrors of life. I am thankful to the dub for but one reason: It got me to realize that there is more out there than crappy Japamation Dubs, there is awesome Japamation!

Ahhh, good episode! Even in english it was pretty good (except that whole thing where they took out the fact taht the crystal was heading for USAGI NOT MAMO-CHAN!)
