Blech + Whoo! = ???
Apr. 21st, 2005 07:09 pmI feel sick. I decided to ditch Philosophy today (even though I have a test on Tuesday) because I felt so miserable. I came home and slept for several hours, and then woke up to a tuna-and-tomato sandwich. ;_; There was no relish...
I watched a few episodes of Inuyasha (someone tell me what group did THE BEST fan subbing of Inuyasha? Because whoever I have doing it... well, they suck) and am going to try watching at least 1 CD or a bare minimum of 5 episodes a day, in the hopes that I can finish the series within a month.
Even though I just finished watching the "Yura of the Hair" episodes, I've already returned to my doujinfic, "Dream a Dream," based after Clara's AU "School Daze" fic of the same name. I'm revising it so I don't use fangirl Japanese anymore... and I'm tempted to ditch the alternating POV thing too, but it does help put more "personal insight" into the story. Hmm, anyone wanna go back to FFnet and check out the old version, tell me what they think?
In case you don't know, Dream a Dream is a "doujinfic" based off another fanfiction, which is, in turn, an AU based off Inuyasha. My fic follows Clara's plot up to the point where she stopped writing-- the exception being, her fic was a high-school AU, mine is... not. Sound intriguing? Check it out and tell me what you think I could do with it, in terms of revisions.
I finally got my $25 GiftCertificates thing for taking the ITC/ETS test, but WHOOPS! The dummies at GiftCertificates.com neglected to give instructions on how to redeem the damn thing, so I accidentally ended up spending $10+ of my own money (which is desperately tight right now) on random books. >_> Well, at least I got ones from my Wish List... Anyway, when I get the actual gift certificate, I'll redeem it for the more expensive books I wanted, plus the Sarah McLachlan single... *_*
I should also be getting my PS2 chip soon, so I'll be able to play the Persona CD Kenny sent me! I tried playing it on the comp with ePSXe, but... no luck. Just a black screen. X_X I don't know how to work PSX emulators...

30kisses is getting off to a good start-- we already have some volunteers with reservations, plus I made up two alternative lists for those who already completed the original 30 kisses list, or who aren't into the theme. There's even "special restrictions" to add to the challenge! So come on, come join us and spread the word!
...I feel icky. I'll try editing more of DaD, and then watch the rest of Inuyasha (to episode 8), and then I'm calling it an evening. Blech.
