Don't be confused

Haaa-- if you saw the 'Claimed Couples' post here from a while back, I blame that entirely on my silliness-- I was posting at 30kisses. You read right. 30kisses. No underscore. I decided that after all the waiting and angsting and chewing my nails and scratching my catpost --er, never mind that last bit--

Well anyway! I decided to create another 30 Kisses community. We use the same themes, and almost all the rules are the same-- but!
(1) I have a special waiting list so people can request popular pairings
(2) People are allowed to report reserved pairings that haven't been updated in over a month on the I Give Up! page so that I can free it up to the next person who requests it, or is on the waiting list
(3) There is a difference between alter-ego pairings, so all those Yami no Yuugi/Yuugi 'shippers out there can have a field day...

And so on. Plus for those that already finished their 30kisses, I plan on featuring a variety of NEW themesets, with all sorts of quirks to them! I plan on making this the ULTIMATE challenge-type community, aaaaand-- well, everything's all set up, I just need to pimp it. Obviously, the best choice would be to do it at the old 30_kisses community itself, but I just can't bring myself to do it. It feels like I'd be encouraging mutiny. But the primary reason why I created 30k in the first place is for those people that wanted to write or draw, but the maintainer never bothered to get back to them!

So it's for them-- the people still chewing/biting/angsting, and for the people who's OTP!!!! of choice has been taken, and keeps GETTING taken, while they get left in the dust. People can still stay with 30_kisses; I won't quit, why should they? But... I want my pairings now, and I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

So I'm starting off the comm today. If you're interested, please sign up-- check out the user info, the FAQ and all that jazz. Before any wank or hype will say otherwise, I thought long and hard about this, and I did work pretty hard on those entries and setting this whole thing up. I don't want to take any heat for this, but... I probably will. It's life. ^_^

I can understand if the 30_kisses mod thinks I'm being some evil little wanker-- and I *do* understand that real life takes you away from the computer and LJs. But that's why I'm asking here and now for people to help me mod the community. Those who do will have priority requesting of the pairings of their choice. Plus you can help me put together more lists for more of a challenge!

So that's my two cents. Who's up for a challenge?
