I'm all done with my story, let's buy a brewski!

*grins* Okay, midterms DONE! As far as I know, I mean. Let's assess:
- Took 1 of 3 Astronomy midterms a while ago, and got a 34/40. That's a B+, I think.
- Took 1 Sociology midterm. I think I did pretty well on it.
- Took 1 lame test in Philosophy. Flunked it. =P
- Took 1 Journalism exam which wasn't too hard, and it wasn't too easy. The story we had to write at the end was okay, and the copy of information was funny as well (dude, police ain't, the guy's mitts...). Professor Salido has a great sense of humor-- one of the test questions was "After a reporter has finished a story, he..." and one of the options was "go out and buy a brewski." It made me laugh, so I decided to use it as my subject line! ^_^

All that's left is to get results back from Sociology tomorrow, turn in some extra credit for both that class and Astronomy, and sit through another boring Philosophy lecture. Then there's ballet on Friday, in which I watch a video, write a paper, and email it to her during the course of spring break. TEH YAY!

When I get home, I'll be hyped up enough to:
- Work on my fics, especially those oneshots that just NEED to get over and dealt with
- Work more on the "Circle of Seven" collection of cards. Now that I think about it, I should make some for WDKY too, since I'm nearing the halfway point. I can make some for the "Best Chapters," and people can tell me which ones they think are "best." Of course, I won't release the cards for the chapters unless the chapters are out, and since I personally think that Chapter 36 is one of the best (hey, it is the finale!) that'll definitely be one of the cards. But official artwork will be hard to pull off, so the WDKY cards will probably feature FANART.
- I also had this great idea to make a flash movie of like, an opening song for "Circle of Seven." It occurred to me, I could totally do it! I mean, I know Flash relatively well (even if it's been ages since I last touched it), and I could make it interactive, too, with flipping cards and stuff. And plus, I have all the sound effects from the three McDonalds Yu-Gi-Oh CDs, so I could use them, too! ^_^ Whee...

The thing is, I went to bed around 9pm last night. Yes, me. 9pm. Scary. I pretty much killed my alarm clock at 10pm, when I wanted to get up to watch Blind Justice. But I was just feeling so tired, I ignored it. Well, whoop-de-doo: I doubt ABC is crying over one lost viewer for one night. I slept until around 2am, and after about a half hour of tossing around, I fell back asleep until 7am. I was so awake and perky by then, I decided to start packing my bags for Japan. Not long after, I showered, had breakfast, made lunch, started working on a post for later on (the Yu-Gi-Oh Definitive 'Shippers List! Look forward to it!) and studied a bit for my midterm today.

All in all, fun fun fun! It's a nice day, I'm awake, the grasses are high and the ramen is fresh, priestman-- er, wrong person. ^^; Plus I'm also going to try to join some more YGO icontest communities that I found via Mamono, so maybe I can get some more icons in this weekend. ^_^

But for now-- lunchtime! And then, maybe I'll walk home. I don't mind so much anymore... I never get hit by cars or barked at by dogs. Plus I don't have to feel guilty for calling the g'rents. All is good. ^_^

The Definitive Happy Birthday LIST... not really.

Pass it along-- I'm officially working on the Definitive Yu-Gi-Oh 'Shippers list. This isn't a rehash of LFangor's list, it's an explanation as to why certain names were picked. If you want to theorize (or confirm) the reasoning behind a certain pairing's name, then let us know!

The way it'll work is that we'll use Japanese names-- but for characters whose names are confirmed for other languages or special pronunciations, we'll spell them that way. Confused?

Here's an example: Anzu, (Katsuya) Jounouchi, (Hiroto) Honda, (Ryuuji) Otogi, (Ryouta) Kajiki, Seto (Kaiba), Mokuba, Yuugi, Pharaoh Atemu, Varon, Malik, Isis, Amelda, Raphael, Tenma, Pegasus, Shaadi, Shaada, Mahaado, etc... Please note that some of these spellings need confirmation. If you want to provide it, please do!

Certain characters have "other forms." For example:
-Ryou Bakura (Holder/Vessel)
-Yami no Bakura (Spirit of the Millennium Ring)
-Thief King Bakura (Ancient Egypt)

-Yuugi Mutou
-Yami no Yuugi
-Pharaoh Atemu

-Seto Kaiba
-Priest Seto

Also, if you're not familiar with some of the Japanese names, here's a brief glossary of the Lesser Knowns:
-Ryuuji Otogi (Duke Devlin)

-Hiroto Honda (Tristan Taylor)
-Pegasus J. Crawford (Maximillion Pegasus)

-Catherine (Catherine - Pandora's [dead] girlfriend, from the early Battle City arc)

-Yami no Kamen, Hikari no Kamen (Lumos and Umbra, from the early Battle City arc. Their names mean Dark Mask and Light Mask, respectively.)

NOTE: All names are listed in Western order (given name, surname) except in the cases of characters who are rarely/never referred to by their given names. Examples of the latter include Ryouta (Kajiki), Ryuuji (Otogi), Katsuya (Jounouchi), and Hiroto (Honda).
