1 - Someone in Hollywood when I was there this past weekend was playing the original version of the subject line song, doing all sorts of random magic tricks. But it also fits to the theme of the past couple of days, and my current "mood" of sorts.

2 - Finally got The Red. The Rag, a visit from Johnny Red, whatever. I'm friggin' happy as all hell, even if it hurts, it means all that "jazz and bloodshed," and taking The Pill again, every single day for however long, at around the same time. It meant a pointless, free, and quick doctor's appointment at the health clinic today. So extra yays for that.

3 - Trading clothes? When Scott stayed over, he neglected (hrm...) to bring his pajama bottoms, so I lent him a pair that I got from Erin-- ironically enough, a pair that looks just like mine-- same size, too. They're light purple fleece with a space theme to them. Even though they're a generic Small, they're rather baggy on me-- but big on him, too. o_O Same exact pants. I guess maybe Erin stretched hers out, while I didn't (haha), so he fit Erin's pair... but I'm wearing them now. It was hilarious watching him in the same pajama pants as me. We matched. o_O What dorks we are. And today, Scott tried on another Erin hand-me-down I was wearing-- my gray fleece Nike Athletics. It was baggy on me but a good fit on him.  His tight-fitting long-sleeved shirt (heaven knows why he was wearing it when it was 80+ degrees outside. I had the sweater around my waist) was a perfect baggy fit on me, so we traded them for the day. *grin*

4 - Took my geography midterm today. It was harder than I expected, and now I know I got at least 1 (probably closer to 3-5) questions wrong. X_X Bummer. I hope I still get a good grade, though... I also turned in my Media Notebook, which increased from 9 pages to 16, because Ms. Henry asked me to give more descriptions in certain places, and change long paragraphs into several shorter ones. Keep in mind that this is Verdana size 10 font, and double-spaced. Scott was surprised though, and suggested maybe that much extra length WASN'T a good thing. I await the return of my papers by next Monday... X_O

5 - Went to the Darkroom with Scott today... it's nice and cool down there, and doing an impromptu study of both elevators and water fountains (what, didn't you know I was random?), I discovered the Science 3 building with all the photo labs is one of the best for both. Icy cold water that's easy to get (some fountains have poor pressure in other buildings, like the Engineering Buildings), and a working elevator that doesn't break down or scare the shit out of you. *grin* And of course, after telling Scott I was finally on the red, he seemed quite happy (keep in mind that I normally don't tell guys that kind of thing; it was weird, but then again, he ASKED me to tell him. Most guys usually KNOW, or ask in that caustic, Stupid Boy way of theirs. "Is it that time of month or something?" JERKS.) and wanting to kiss me whenever and wherever he got the chance. o_O So I was not only highly shy around him, but tomato red, and super-flattered.

6 - When we had lunch, Scott wouldn't stop flattering me! X_X I'm actually so unused to flattery re: my looks. I know I'm vain, but I don't like FEELING so. But Scott said I was beautiful, and he won't stop telling me that every time I doubt myself. He even said the tips of my hair are the color of "amber," and really pretty when the sun shines through them... *swoon* He's such a sweetheart! Sandwiches! Rides home and to school! Gosh, I'm so lucky!! It's hard to believe how far we've come in just over a month. And yesterday, after not seeing and barely contacting Scott at all on Monday, I said "long time no see" and he said it had only been a day. But today, he said he'd missed me, and I said the same thing-- and he simply said it felt like he'd known me for an eternity, and so of course he'd miss me even if it were just a day. Some might classify that as a bit over-the-top, but scarily enough, I feel the same way. It's like we've known each other much longer than a month. I can't finish his sentences yet, or take any Scott Pop Quizzes, but... there's just that FEELING, you know?

7 - I'm finally getting the prescription thing worked out. I have my Account number and stuff set up for Prescription Solutions, but they seem to be having errors now or whatnot. But I called Mom up and talked to her for over an hour, and we got everything worked out, caught up on stuff... I really do have to call Jill and apologize for not seeing her this past weekend, as Sunday, Scott and I just got held up in Hollywood until late. :P Bad Mer.

8 - Tomorrow: CAD class and Math, which I still have to do homework for and catch up on my NYSE stock project, which entails figuring out how to make charts and graphs in my Excel knock-off, PerfectExpert. Hopefully I can meet up with Scott again for lunch. I have the feeling I'm forgetting something else, but who knows? At this point, it's me just itching to get finals and projects over with, and get my Financial Aid check (within two weeks now, hopefully). But then there's Halloween and my faboo costume idea (sorry Jimbo, you can't talk me out of it. I just need the dress and the paint.) and more Craft Nights.

Speaking of which, on my way to the Botanic Garden/Health Clinic today for lunch/appointment, I stopped by this booth in front of the USU Mercantile because I saw several girls gathered around a table and a big sign saying FREE! It's where the salespeople usually sell jewelry and stuff, so I checked out out- and got suckered into painting a free flowerpot! I got to keep the end result, which is quite cool... I decided on an astro theme, and I wrote "Reach for the stars" in gold terra cotta marker at the end. I realized after I left that I should have written (a'la MK-sama) "Reach for your plastic moon" to go along with the cheesy blue moon that I glued on the pot. Scott saw the finished product and after lunch, went to do his own-- a red, white and blue layered thing that is "unfinished" and currently sitting in his photo locker. ^_^

Anything else? Well, I'm sick of computers because I spent 6+ hours yesterday at the Collabatory, but I gotta finish WDKY11 and at least a beta of Téa KiSS. So if I can't think of what I might be forgetting for tomorrow, I'll be here. Talk to me. :)

Oh yeah-- hate me for this later, but I got smacked upside the head for another two Yu-Gi-Oh fics. One of them will (un/fortunately?) be an epic, along the lines of WDKY, so I don't intend to start it until WDKY is entirely out of the way. It's sort of like a Stargate SG-1/Yu-Gi-Oh fusion (note: NOT A CROSSOVER) of sorts, and involves more of that "end of the manga, but not end of the adventure" sort of style. And of course, a big wangsty Seto/Téa/Yugi triangle. Or some polygon.

But that's not all-- I watched Amanda Tapping (from SG-1) and the premiere episode of "Proof Positive" tonight on Sci-Fi, along with "Ghost Hunters," and it inspired me for yet another series that has actually been done for other fandoms before-- I think. Sound familiar? Person goes to a carnival with friends, gets hypnotized, and something happens that changes the way everyone thinks about them, and the way the person thinks about the world. Now you fill in the blanks with who gets hypnotized, what they learn, and how they change. Adventures, romance, and angst ensue-- and again, it's a post-Volume 38 story. *smirk* These are on the back burners, along with already-started fics like TLC, Family, Something to Somebody, The Joke's On You, and so on. Sorry, but I'm only one person.

Oh yes, and MOST IMPORTANTLY!

Post a memory of me.
It can be anything you want.
Then post this to your journal.
See what people remember about you. (Stolen from various people)

Dez, where the heck are you? Happy Birthday, Dude!

Oh yes, I revised and did some final touch-ups on the CSUN Anime Club poster. It's kind of a big image, even for a "shrunken thumbnail," so I'm stuffing it behind a cut. Not Your Ordinary Samurai... )

I still have to talk to everyone about the website, because frankly... it sucks. Then again, I'm sort of biased toward Anime FX, and I think their website is all that and a box of Pocky, so...

Speaking of Pocky, I have to go buy some from the local Japanese market (I hope they have some!) for our Speech presentation on Japan-- which Michelle and Amy want to do on Monday! Dude, I don't know what I'm going to say for my Introduction (other than "Welcome, and thank you for joining us for our presentation on Japan" in Japanese... which I still have to figure out how to phrase, exactly.). That and, I went and bought that whole poster board-- we better be able to put stuff on it. None of us have lockers or anything though, and I'm not too keen on toting the poster board and any visual aids tomorrow unnecessarily. I'm willing to bring markers and whatever; maybe if I can stop by home after class, get artsy stuff, and then be back at the library by 2, it'll work out in my favor. I think I'll assemble that stuff now...

Okay, so I've got:
* Permanent Markers
* Manga (including "phone books")
* Origami Paper and Kimono-shaped note paper
* The Anime Companion
* A few books, including Memoirs of a Geisha, The Pillow Book of Lady Wisteria, and Banana Yoshimoto's N.P.

We have to cover a great deal of "general Japan" and some "interesting, What You Thought You Knew" facts about Japan in 15 minutes, between the four of us. Amy and Michelle are taking care of the body of the speech, so the plan at this point is:
FRIDAY:
-Meet at the library at 2pm
-Design the visual aid, including interesting info, art, etc. Photocopy things like maps, draw pictures of anime characters, geisha, samurai, and so on. (Pimp the anime club?)
-Make sure the introduction explains why we're presenting, why Japan is interesting, and what topics we're going to cover (history, politics, people, culture, food, art, etc.)
-Have to use at least 2 current journals (within the last 5 years) and 2 books.
-Get the MLA format outline finished

In other news, I've made some more outfits for Téa, but as I said before, the doll is seriously a Beta version. I still have to figure out how to save a *.pal palette file from Photoshop using my selected 256 colors (anyone know how?). Plus I need to work on some shoes. Stupid shoes. They're hard to draw. If worse comes to worse, I can always print out the nude doll and use tracing paper to create more clothes, which I can then scan, clean up, and color. Hopefully (BIG emphasis on the 'HOPE' part there) I can get a beta *.kcf done by Saturday night.

I've also started the Anniversary Page, which will include any and all goodies people want to send my way, plus the KiSS doll, anything else people can think of... and of course, links to the fic. I'm trying to come up with a complete list of Chapter titles, because believe it or not, I haven't thought that far ahead. I have up to Chapter 16, and the ending/finale chapter. I even have chapter titles for the sequel, but not Chapter 17+! Yeesh. The page has teaser summaries of each chapter, including ones that haven't been released yet. So there are some spoilers as of right now, but since the page isn't UP yet, I'll find a way to rewrite them to keep you all hanging. *grin*
