Episode Confusion!

>_< FFX-2 Chapter 5 is a PAIN. IN. THE. ASS. Or maybe it's a "Paine" in the ass, I'm not sure yet.

Good things:
* Got Episode Complete!s in a few areas, like Besaid, Kilika, Luca, and so on. I'm currently on the Thunder Plains and working on the Cactuar Nation sidequest. Found 6 Cactuars so far; I know where the others are, but finding them will take a while, what with those fiends standing right at the edge of the cactus ranch.

* Paine is the fastest level-upper, though I don't really know why. She's already mastered the Warrior and Dark Knight dresspheres, and I have her working on Samurai and Trainer. Yuna is the Gun Mage, White Mage, Gunner, and Songstress, but she's stuck at 90% for the Gun Mage because of that dratted Blue Bullet. I missed my chance to learn a few of the fiends you learn the tricks from; others I'd have to venture into areas and start MORE Episodes in order to fight them. Finally, Rikku is my Thief, Berserker, Black Mage, and Alchemist. I don't have any other Dresspheres. ;_; I hear Rikku in her Machina Maw is great vs. Vegnagun, so I'm trying to train her with that. Yuna was fantastic with her Floral Fallal back in Kilika, but I haven't done much with Paine's Special Sphere since I got it from Trommell in Chapter 1.

BAD THINGS:

* Like I said, I'm in the Thunder Plains, in the secret cave messing with the puzzles and the walls and the rah rah rah. But the fiend encounters are annoying me... and I don't have a Charm Bangle. And the wonderful way my StratGuide is organized, you have to search page by page to see if how the item is obtained. >_< So does anyone know where you get the Charm Bangle (Exorcist Bracer) in FFX-2? I hope it's obtainable even in Chapter 5 (i.e. it's not an event-item).

* Also, I don't have the Crimson Spheres 5, 6, and 8. I know I was supposed to get 5 from Leblanc, but she's not in Guadosalam. And if there's no way to get it in Chapter 5, that means the Den of Woe will remain sealed, and I won't get to fight Rikku, Paine, Baralai, Gippal, and Nooj. Which means a lot of cool items (and a percentage amount) won't be obtainable... >_< !!! AUGH!!! So how do I get Crimson Spheres 6 and 8?

*sigh* This is a HUUUUGE pain in the neck. I still have to dispatch chocobos to Bikanel to find the Desert Key, and to somewhere on the Mi'ihen Highroad to find that secret dungeon.

I keep getting tempted to write in my strategy guide, but I WON'T. >_< BAD MER! But I will figure out where to get that dratted bangle and see how much more I can complete tonight. I'm at 83%. ;_; That seems so little, considering I could just hop right into the Farplane now.

I should be working on WDKY10. Or the present, or BEA's new layout, or... I have a lot to do, but darn, this game is addicting. And I need sleep, too. And food. But there's nothing to eat here. :P I hate this. I need cereal.

Let's go International!

Things to do before I leave SF:
* Have one last bash at RTA, even if I waste all my cash on donuts and Initial D
* Get my PS2 modded for Japanese games-- and buy FFX-2 International + Last Mission.
* Get the CD Soundtrack for the aforementioned game at Mikado.
* Stock up on manga.

Why don't they ever bring International + Last Mission to the U.S.? Even if they left it Japanese, I know people would be nuts about buying it. Of course, Last Mission being entirely in Japanese is a deterrent, but people would buy it for International. heck, I'd buy it just for the Jewel Mage dressphere! At least they brought the cutscene from International FFX over here on the special FFX-2 preview discs... But what about FFX-2??!

Well, I actually went to bed at a semi-decent hour (3am) and woke up at a semi-decent hour (11:30am) today. But the catch is, I woke up around 7:00 from a not-so-nice-nightmare. I got the feeling I'd had it before, and it was pretty freaky-- but not like those nightmares where you find yourself too freaked out to go asleep. I was freaked out, but I was tired enough to fall back asleep within the hour.

The dream had something to do with sick-minded 5th graders murdering one another and a hot cannibal who got stuck with a girl. He had to promise not to eat her.

-.- Yeah, I know my mind is twisted. But what does any of that have to do with finding a Charm Bangle? Turns out I was supposed to have one dropped from a Boss Fight with the Leblanc Syndicate. And I probably sold it when I wanted to buy the data in Guadosalam... which was a stupid mistake. Damn those items that can't be bought or forged! I did that in SO2 as well, with the Sharp Edge. And then at the Field of Love, I'm like "Why don't I have the Eternal Sphere!?" *sigh*

So I'm going to take a shower and then go to Abercrombie... Mom is probably spending the day with Gary or whatever, but I should at least buy her a card for Mom's Day. :P We both put up with so much crap from each other, she deserves it. Besides, she holds a hell of a grudge for things like that...

Yep. And then I can come home and play FFX-2 until I finally beat it. Well, at 9 there's Alias. :} So I best get going now...
