Hey-lo! I am home, because I have a glorious day off today! Yesterday I had a very short shift at ticket drop... t'was kind of scary too, since SECURITY SUCKS, and there were two incidences when the guard didn't do anything. Why? Because he was on his lunch break! yeesh.

Well, I got stuff done-- went to J-town and got cards for Naveed and Baba/Grandpa. Went to Fillmore post office and mailed Baba's present... hopefully the plates will get there in one piece. Went home and snacked a bit before doing the dishes (I hate sponges now.) and then heading back to work to give Naveed his card. Then I stopped by Blockbuster and rented "The Panic Room," which is going to help me with WDKY8.

Today I have to go to the Container Store to pick up some more green takeout boxes, and stop by DSW to set up my "account" as a frequent shopper. ^_^ But I want to decorate some boxes first, and foremost, WORK ON WDKY8! I went to bed early (like, 9!) last night, so I'm well rested and ready to write! -.-; It's still a pain with these nails, but I gotta get used to it sooner or later!

Gotta remember to balance my checkbook too, since I splurged at Japantown and bought 3 new manga-- Yu-Gi-Oh 35 (the BEWD girl wakes up!), PGSM #3 (no stickers, but the posters are pretty!), and Fushigi Yuugi: Legend of the Genbu Seishi #1! (that last one isn't the real title, I'm sure, but I was so startled to see a new FY series out by Watase-sensei... I mean there was FY, Ayashi no Ceres, Alice 19th, and now...!! I mean, FY was supposed to end at 13, but then Eikoden and the OAVs came around, and then it continued another 4 volumes! @_@ Watase-sensei never takes a break! I just hope I can find translations for this!

I think someone had a church key, didn't really know what it did or what it was good for, mispronounced it as chatchkie, and now any small something with a singular use is a chatchkie. o_O This occured to me while drinking Martinelli's Apple-Cranberry Sparkling Cider this fine morning.

Hi, my name is Mer, and I'm a detail freak

You know, for someone that is amazingly disorganized, a moody, often pessimistic person, not to mention lacking in funding and know-how... I sure am a detail freak.

The past 20 minutes or so I have been obsessing about a quote ( ' ) I saw in one of my fics. It was at the end of a line of speech (" speech ") and I have since become desperate to change it. I can't find it anywhere! I already made revisions to all the chapters in WDKY, and with some of them, it's the 3rd or 4th time! I fixed 2 dinky little things in Chapters 1 and 2, and I still have to upload them to FFnet and my site... plus there's MMorg!

Gotta go meet mom downtown, and then Joe later on. I want McDonald's. ARGHHHH!!!!
