Well, if guys can bring your mood down, they can hoist it right back up again.
Talking to Mike's brother Dave is like getting a LOT of my chest. All these worries about not getting into the CCSF class, and potentially not into SFSU for Spring '04 as a result-- I told him everything, all the details, and it really helped to know that someone like him -someone who I know Mike idolizes and has said nothing but praise for in terms of his intelligence- actually FAILED some of his classes in college! Suddenly pressuring myself to do better isn't so scary anymore; I feel human. ^_^
Gene actually IMd me too-- which is pretty cool, since things last ended between us on a sour note. No mention of why we just stopped talking, and that makes me happy, because you're supposed to "put your past behind you!" ^_^ Hehe... Hakuna Matata, my friends. I'm in a much better mood, and hopefully the saltwater gargling I've done will help me out tomorrow.
But I better go-- dishes to do, alarms to set... and hopefully sometime soon, a stupid yellow form to find! See you at my graduation *hackhack* I hope this cough doesn't worsen...
