Funny thing, sleepovers (Take 2)
Jun. 7th, 2003 11:15 amWhen I try to type at someone else's house, my fingers take longer to get used to the keyboard, and I do something dumb like pressing Alt-F4 when I'm really just trying to capitalize a letter. =P
Oh yeah, Aaron and I are staying at Erwin's house... and I originally planned to make this entry another long one about graduation, the post-graduation "party," and all that other assorted-ness, but I'll save those gooshy details for later.
After RTA last night (which was close to a flop, really) Aaron and I went with Erwin to INO... Seigfred had to get home, so he couldn't come with us *snaps fingers* Damn, no duel! Now we're here abusing poor Erwin's DSL and his PS2! >_> We decided to go to Erwin's house (more like his CONDO APARTMENT!) to watch "Animatrix" and we did that-- all 9 movies, plus special features and the German movie, "Run Lola, Run." Pretty good, the both of them... but I didn't pay enough attention to Animatrix as I should have, and I ended up drawing with Erwin's Prismacolor pencils.
I need to get myself a new box of those, since my old ones are limited in color and are getting worn down. Ooh, the watercolor ones! Probably expensive and not really NEEDED... I can't wait till July when I get rid of all the stuff in my room and hopefully redecorate. Mom sounded like she wanted to do a total overhaul of the house! ^_^ Sung's supposed to help us get rid of stuff for his garage sale thing, too... which helps a lot!
I suppose I can always check out availibility and price of the pencils at Utrecht or the Art Store on my way downtown/to RTA one of these days. Speaking of which, does anyone know if RTA's back on summer hours yet? Or Bemani Night is going to move back to Wednesdays... like it used to be waaay long... er, okay, a whole summer, a whole YEAR! ago.
Hard to believe it's been a year since I've met Amber and Will. MAYBE one day when all of us are together and can stick around long enough, we can do something cool. ^_^
So we're here at Erwin's... "Animatrix" inspired me to draw a lot, while I missed details of the movies. Guess that means I have to get the DVD for myself now, but it looks like a really good deal for $18! =D Aaron's been online most of the night while Erwin and I slept after the movie... then he played "Amplitude," which looks impossible for someone not so button-inclined as myself... I still think the remixes are cool though, and Aaron was explaining to me all the differences between Techno, Trance, SynthPop, etc. It's becoming enlightening, but I regret not bringing my notebook so I could write this all down!
Augh, so much to do today, and it still feels early! I'm hungry too, but at least I'm not broke. I know there's no breakfast food at home though.
Aaron's birthday and Fanime are coming up soon-- June 22nd. Mike apparently wants to plan a Great America trip, and why not kill two birds with one stone by going to Fanime with Aaron and going to GA on the last day of Fanime, when not much happens-- and it's Aaron's birthday? But everyone who'd want to go would need money, unless I can ask my mom to help us snag tickets... it's kinda iffy though. But hey, it's all worth a shot, I want to go on rollercoasters!
Blah, I'm done for now. When I get home-- LYRIC WHEEL! AAH!
