azuriteGreetings from Petaluma, CA! I'm up here visiting my dad, and I got here by bus not all that long ago... Dad wanted to spend Saturdat with Kathleen since they don't get to see each other much, so they spent time together yesterday, and now here I am!
Yesterday I had a blast shopping. It was kind of lonely (and kind of heartbreaking to see all that money disappear...) BUT I upgraded my manga stash, so I'm happy. I got Yu-Gi-Oh #1, Wild Act #1, and Full Metal Panic #1. I <3 YGO, and can't wait to snag #2 (it's supposed to be out by now... argh) but FMP is kinda... weird. And now that own WA#1, I van nitpick about Tokyopop's less-than-stellar job. Yeesh, they left a page in with English text over Japanese, so it's next to impossible to read! And their font choice isn't all that good either...
I want to email them about that, and also about translating the Peach Girl fanbook. I almost bought it yesterday, but it's so much text, it'd be a pain to translate. Here's hoping they trasnlate it as a special manga edition or something.
I also bought 3 new booster packs for my YGO deck, as I want to get back into dueling, and maybe enter C & C's Saturdat tourneys? >_>... And I also got the Seto Kaiba disc from the McDonald's MightyKids meal... it cost me a whopping $7.95, but it's WORTH it to me, and I want the other two discs too! It came with two special cards no available anywhere else, and I got one of the two powerful ULTRA RARES! WWHOOOOOOOOOOO! And the guy at the comic shop gave me special violet-red sheaths for any rares! :D I got a good number of them too... from Pharaonic Guardian, Labyrinth of Nightmare, Legacy of Darkness, and... er... one other... >_> Helped some kids sort out some card stuff too. Thought Exodia came with Yugi's starter deck... hahaha...
I got a LOT of good reviews for "What Doesn't Kill You," Chapter 2, and I can't wait to write Chapter 3! I know I should work on TJOY but it's hard to balance out the inevitable drama of Part 2 with the original romantic comedy of Part 1. Part 3 or 4, I know, whichever ends up being after Joey's duel with Odion, will be funny, but I can't say why just yet... getting there is the hard part.
Hehe, Taz is SOOOOO cute. She's a lounge-kitty, as my Dad said, and wasn't all that frisky when I got here, but now she's sitting here on the desk watching me type... she doesn't seem to fit her name just yet. Matter of fact, she's so young (about 11 weeks), she can't even meow much yet. But she's ADORABLE! I wish I had a camera! :D Too bad I ran out of Allegra and Sudafed only goes so far, 'cause my nose itches SOOOO much right now...
I wonder how I'll deal with that shift switch tomorrow at work... the girl I'm switching with, as far as I know, didn't fill out a shift change form. So maybe I can show up to work as I normally would, before 3, do the form thingy, and then see a movie until my switched shift starts at 6? o_O? I guess I should see Kill Bill, if it isn't sold out on a Monday afternoon...
Dad and I went to Quinley's after he picked me up, and we had corn dogs and Coke with fries. Yummers! Then we went to the supermarket (I was getting so lost, it's been so long since I've been there...) and now here we are. I want to go to Copperfield's and The Comic Box before I wake up at some ungodly hour tomorrow morning to go back into the bay with Dad.
Hehe, Taz-chan's sitting on my lap now! She came of her own free will too! I have a kitty lap... :)

FFnet (fanfiction.net) used to have 'actor fics,' that were like, behind-the-scenes, and some of the more popular ones were about boy bands... those were quickly banned since a lot of them were fairly pathetic in nature (fangirl marries BSB member) and also, bands and authors didn't like it much.
o_O I hope that explains it... sorta?
