azuriteWell today was an interesting day at work-- I stayed longer than needed. From 3:30 to 10:15-- well, 10:30, really, since I helped clean 2 houses when I didn't have to. So I'll get paid for the 7 hours... X_X My feet are killing me-- and I didn't eat much, since I only had oreos and two drinks on my 30 minute, and... o_O I forgot what I did on my 10 minute. I think I just had a soda and the leftover oreos from before. Mark and David were in the break room with 3 other girls, playing Texas Poker.
When I was cleaning House 3 with Manish and some other guys, I asked Manish how old Mark was, since Mark intercommed that a "young guy" was coming up the escalator to validate his parking. Manish said Mark was 26! I was shocked and wasn't sure to believe it or not, but why would he have lied to me? Of course, it ended up that he was just joking, but I had to find this out from Mark myself-- when I mustered up the courage to ask him how old he was. He said he's only 17! *shockzors!* Guys that look... like HE DOES are not allowed to be 17! Damnit, jailbait! ;) Aw well. I wonder where he goes to high school.
I had a feeling I'd see Leanne, of all people, today at the theater, and guess what? As I was leaving, I did. o_O She was with a relatively good looking guy named Tony, too. o_O Hmmmm... I don't want to know. I also saw Mimi and chatted with her a bit. DDRd some too, since I had that $1 I owe Naveed and he left before I could pay him back. I wasn't doing so well though, and I suppose it's because I'd been working so long already, and my Mootsies aren't exactly DDRing shoes. ;P
I really need to get my printer fixed (if not just buy a new one) SOON-- as in, before October 1st, since I'll need to print stuff for this scholarship/contest thingy. Darnit! *throttles printer* Well, I haven't tried messing with it in a while, so maybe it actually works...? That would be cool.
Anyway, so I work tomorrow, too... and though I probably have stuff online I need to get done, right now I can't think of anything pressing enough. I might just review "Perfect World" and tamper a bit with my ideas for the HYD fic I started, "In the Spotlight," but nothing serious now, since my feet hurt too much to really sit here for a long time and do anything. But I hear NBoR isn't dead yet, and between my other necessary-surfs, I might stop by there, or by Oekaki. >_< Meanwhile, ow, my feet hurt...
