azuriteHate to be crude here, but F*CK!! ;_; So I get home from SVGL (party + SVGL = fun; long story, tell later) and Mom's online, so I snag this opportunity to tell her we ought to update the Norton programs. Last time I used them (maybe a month ago, when I was scanning for the Blaster/SoBig viruses/worms) the program refused to download new VirusDefs without a $20 subscription. I said "Aw, not right now," and closed out. Now, Mom's paid the $20, we got the subscription keys and all-- even done all the step-by-steps and tutorials, but for the life of me, I can't get the subscription window to pop up again.
And there's this one error that keeps coming up whenever I try to use LiveUpdate to update AntiVirus-- "Your Operating System is Windows NT/2000. This update is not desiged for Windows NT/2000." I checked the support database, and it says to uninstall and reinstall the entire damn thing!
If anyone with the Norton 2002 SystemWorks Discs is reading this (i.e. Joemi) please let me borrow them ASAP! I will be forever indebted to you!
If you haven't figured it out by now, muy muy importante. It has to happen within the next two weeks, too, or the subscription keys expire and I am FU*KED! BAD BAD BAD! So please, for the sake of niceness and virus-free compies with important shiznit on it EVERYWHERE, help me out. :) We will love you (Me and my computer, that is).
