30 Day Sailor Moon meme...Day 10

Indeed, it's time for another day in the 30 Days of Sailor Moon meme, and I'm at last in the double digits!
Now THIS is a fun one. In a series filled with Sailor Senshi, both real and fake, who do we wish WAS one of our sailor suit-clad fighters for love and justice? But it's not quite asking "If ANY character could be a Sailor Senshi," like "if Akane from Ranma was a Sailor Senshi..." or "If you could inject your Otaku Senshi/RPG-created Senshi into the series." Nope, as I understand it, this question is saying, "If you could make any non-Senshi into a Senshi, who would it be?"
So that effectively eliminates a huge chunk of characters, especially those in Stars. Even if they were "false" Senshi, they were still "Sailor" something-or-other, and in my mind, that counts...for this, anyway. Same goes for "non-Sailors" who are Senshi/Guardians, like Mamoru.
And since Luna got to be a Senshi in PGSM, she can't count, either!
Supposedly only girls can be "true" Sailor Senshi, according to Naoko, even though she said in canon that Mamoru possesses the "Sailor Crystal" of Earth. So that eliminates any cool guys like Motoki or Asanuma that might make fun, surprising "Guardians" like Tuxedo Mask....but I kind of like the surprise!Senshi possibility, like someone you don't expect having Sailor Senshi abilities.
I've always liked the idea that Usagi resetting the Galaxy Cauldron at the end of the manga means that there will be Senshi for unexpected things, or that the Sailor Crystals that would have been for planets that got destroyed by Galaxia would go into beings that could "handle" them, creating a new generation of Senshi.
It'd be awesome to see Naru be a Sailor Senshi! Actually, I think back before it was revealed Mamoru had the Sailor Crystal of Earth, a lot of fanfiction speculated that she was. But I guess "true" Sailor Senshi wouldn't go through the rigamarole she did (what with being youma bait every other week, up until S, I'd say) and not awaken...unless, like I said, she BECAME a Senshi, but wasn't always one, the way the others were.
Hey, nothing wrong with the other Senshi getting some extra help from the universe, since Chaos seems to think backwater ol' Earth is pretty fun to play on, right? Even though canon shows there's humanoid life on plenty of other planets from beyond our solar system...or there WAS, before Galaxia showed up. *shudder*
It's amusing, because in PGSM, Usagi and her friends--not sure if Naru was among them--played as "Sailor (letter of given name here)," to parody Sailor V. It was really cute, except they got involved in a REAL heist that, if I remember correctly, the real Sailor V had to save them from. It made it especially funny because it was Usagi's first meeting with Sailor V, but if Sailor V had any idea that Usagi was going to end up being Sailor Moon and Princess Serenity, she didn't let on.... ;-)
We don't see too many other characters that we have the chance to really get attached to that might make for great Senshi, I feel. Sailor Moon has a supporting cast, to be sure, but for the many reasons I mentioned above, few of them seem suited (forgive the pun) to being a Senshi. If Naru had ended up being one--even if it was just temporary, and even if her powers had nothing to do with Earth at all, even though the color scheme would look awesome with her hair and Mamoru deserves to have a family of SOME kind!--I think it would really bring the "friendship" theme of Sailor Moon full circle. Usagi would't have had to sacrifice any of her friendships because of her duty as Sailor Moon, and she could demonstrate that by staying friends with Naru, she can keep a secret (though the suspicion is that Naru knows the truth by Sailor Moon R, anyway), or at least be mature about it. And "station" wouldn't matter for those dear friends later on down the line, when Usagi, you know, BECOMES QUEEN OF EARTH AND ALL.
I nominate Naru! Naru for Senshi-dom! But anime!Naru. I didn't like PGSM!Naru very much at all....
