Still on the hunt

azuriteStill looking for the SO1 rom, to no luck so far. Found this Japanese page that explains some things about SO2 though...
* 50% of the voice collection opens up both Galaxy and Universe mode. I am too chicken to try either of these modes, though I have access to them both on my memory cards.
* 70% opens up Music Test Mode. This isn't just a Japanese thing, apparently; people with the American game have done it before. To get some of the rarer clips, you have to a) control the mages so you can force them to use their weird spells (i.e. Deep Mist, Forget, etc.) more frequently. Each spell has 2 clips to it, and each character has their battle cries, their provocations, their "screams" when someone dies... etc. B) is that you have to force some of those screams, kill off characters in unimportant battles, using Mandrake. =P There's also the things characters say at the start of battles, when they escape, and when they get healed. @_@ And apparently when you have members in your party temporarily, like Celine, Opera, or Ashton, they say something different when they die or whatnot, since they're not such "close friends." This, of course, depends on the PAs you've done with them. "Boikure" is the romanization of "Voice Collection." ^^;
* 95% -- I didn't know about this one until now, and it's apparenly VERY rare to get. The page I'm looking at doesn't give much of a description --says something about the illustration being explained, and "Netabare." I don't know what that means, though. =P
* There's also this thing about the Violin song "Enter the Hero," which allows you to swap game data. @_o At least, that's what I understand from this page here. Blah, Altavista SUCKS for Asian translation. SUCKS!
* Something about whether the TWM are Androids are not. They aren't-- they are highly evolved versions of Nedians. Hence the reason why they say that Rena is "like them," and why Dr. Lantis, a genius in the field of Heraldry Science and DNA Manipulation for the Purpose of Evolution, was the creator of the TWM.
* Okay, so what really DID happen with Lantis' and Filia's thought processes (and how the hell did Lantis GET Filia's thought processes, when she was murdered and her body was presumably never found)? This guy speculates that it wasn't Indalecio that got Lantis' thought processes, but Gabriel/Cyril. Makes sense in a twisted (just like Gabriel!) way, since Gabriel is psychotic, hates Indalecio, etc. etc. @_@. Apparently the PA has lent some evidence to this, but I'm too chicken to see it. Unless I save just outside Central City and then do it... >_> But that would mean going ALLLLL the way to the top of Fienal, going ALLLLLL the way back down, etc. etc. and THEN seeing it, and after all the FOODLE I've gone through with the CoT (and I STILL haven't beaten it!) I really don't feel like that now... besides, I still have to get 40,000 Fol to get the Bandit's Glove before I hit Clik! There's very few good places to get Fol this early in the game... >_> Why, for some reason, do I feel like I'm speaking Engrish ala Altavista translation?
* Okay, all this talk about Gabriel and Filia has confused me. Even in the artbook, Filia and Gabriel are pictured together. Isn't Gabriel = Cyril? Not Gabriel = Indalecio, right? I know there were several name changes, especially in terms of enemies in the games. Like Indalecio-Celesta used to be Iselia-Queen or something like that. And doesn't anyone wonder, if Lover from the Field of Love was the "first henchman" of the TWM, where are the others? o_O
Hm... after I finisht this buritto, I think I'll play SO2. But I might come back later to work on webpages, fics... (SHIZA! I didn't save the conversation I had with Bonnie tonight about "Golden Apple." I hope she did, I had some great ideas!) yeah. *yawn* Sleep eventually. I'm just getting bored and cold. Stupid sleeveless. I need more sweaters.
