...Should I be nervous about my name being on there? Or is it that these WERE male names and BECAME female names and are so culturally thought of as female these days that it's not a big deal?

I mean, I do remember that one rather creepy counselor from my elementary school days in YMCA; his last name was "Meredith," and he said something like "Hey, we should get married: then you'd be Meredith Meredith!" and even at age 7 or 8 or whatever, I was VERY creeped out.

Well, in any case, I love my name. It took a while, but I do.

That is a really creepy thing to say to a little kid.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was common for boys back in the day, but most people these days see it first adn foremost as a female name so you needn't worry. No real stereotype comes to mind when I consider your name.

Ny name = Gursimrat. Fat chance that'll ever be common. Even in my own culture, an 'n' ending is more common for it.

lol Yes, considering it's a popular character. It's a page called "Yami yugi" for which we already have a page, Dark Yuugi. It was created about a day or two ago, and I made a request for it to be deleted on the Deletion Request page.

Done. Thanks for letting me know. That user might end up getting deleted, too, since I seem to remember putting in the rules that usernames shouldn't be derivatives of character names, so as to avoid article crossover and the possibility of roleplayers "acting out" on their User pages.

Hmm... interesting. It never occurred to me that use can lead to the assignment of a name to a particular gender.
