Someone help me, please. I don't have Casablanca. I'm ashamed! I should have it, not just because it's a classic, and I'm a sap that should be able to say "I've seen it two million and thirty six times" but... come on! ;_; I need it! I wonder how much Blockbuster charges for a 1 hour late DVD... cuz maybe I could rent it from there. Maybe.

Hmm, came online after Jonathan left (all I'm gonna say to that: ^_^v) and checked my azurite_moon email. Bah, only 4 real emails! How sad, I thought, nobody really reviewed the newest chapter of DD. I'm tempted to hold off on posting Part 5 (which is nearly completed) until I hear more from people, see if they're still reading. But that's silly-- I'd be a total hypocrite, cuz I post because I want to, not because of reviews! =P I made the dumb mistake of doing that with "Brand New Day," and now I really want to work on it again! But I have to finish what I start, or at least get halfway there-- DD will be up to Part 8 before I switch fandoms as of yet.

Which is why I feel so regretful replying to this email:

I want to compliment you on an excellently written story on Fanfiction.net you wrote, "Perfect World" set in the Star Ocean universe. It had me on the edge of my chair, so to speak, and reading eagerly to know what happened, both in the past and present. Your characters are true to their in game/anime origins, and your writing style a pleasure to read. I humbly ask that you write more, because I'm wondering how Rena became so high in the Federation hierarchy, and what
will happen once she makes contact with her home world and finds the man she loves still alive, against all hope. I want to immerse myself in your vision of the universe, as it is so real and almost tangible.
Sincerely,
Samantha

Best email review. EVER. I am so flattered, I hope I just find the right words to say to her! I really want to work on PW again too-- ~_~ I forgot where I left off, though, so that's something to review tonight once I'm finished with DD5. Finally getting the North City Secret files, along with the strange Master Chef battle with Puffy has inspired me to get back into the SO2 world-- once I get enough money, I'm buying the rest of the manga!

Okay, so the 18-year-old thing is a problem. Get someone else to buy the kitten for you then, like maybe your dad? The cost I can't help you with; it's to pay for care of the kitten, shots, etc. Worse comes to worse, check online for people moving or giving away animals-- news stations frequently have "pet of the week" that are being given away. The pound I went to was in Petaluma, and it's been years; their laws might have changed.

-.-; Mom finally comes home today, and decides NOW to bother me about the stupid copies of the Anaheim pictures. I tried to cancel the one we placed online (it was all a big mixup, that ended up with the C.O.D being cheaper) but I couldn't. So we're stuck with two of the same picture -exactly the same- and we paid something like $60 for the both of them. And she says that with the money she owes in credit card debt, she could buy a nice luxury car. -.- She's told me this before, so I'm not surprised, but I told her flat out (and this is the truth) that I'm not (and I can't be!) responsible for that much debt. She always brings up Fanime and school trips (i.e. Anaheim) as major expenses... true, Mom did pay something like $250 for Anaheim, but it could have been worse-- I did raise a lot of money doing stupid school fundraisers! That's a lot harder than it sounds! And I *tried* to pay her for the Fanime room, but she wouldn't let me, saying it'd been a birthday present, or graduation present or something. She loves to guilt trip me. There's just no family here anymore. *sigh*

Okay, solved the mystery of Puffy in the Master Chef competition. She appears every once in a while, but you don't get anything special if you beat her. Lots of tips and tricks to beating the competition-- Level 10 cooks with Sense of Taste, Berets and All-Purpose Knifes equipped, and dropping pressure by going to the center and getting food. Avoid Ganze Sea Urchins, as they raise pressure dramatically when you fail, but when you succeed, they're well worth it. Rare ingredients are harder to cook with, but raise HP/MP more than common ingredients. The points you get are a equivalent to the % of HP or MP raised by the food-- normal items have a max of 65, while rare items can get up to 100. So the more rare items you make, the better. Some of the rare items sound pretty yummy too, like the Gateau Marjoliane (sp?). It's some kind of cake.

Oh, yes: Take my Quiz on QuizYourFriends.com!

*tee hee hee*

Oh, you know what? I've been wanting to get into Palmistry lately. I've already got a good deal of astrology and tarot down pat, and while I could expand on those (get myself a moon calendar!) I think I want to have more of a variety, you know? Heh, and if I don't get a real job, I'll run away to the circus and become some sort of spooky fortune teller. =P

I've decided to get playing SO1 for my emulator. It's been too long since I had an obsessively good time on my emulator. =)

Still working on DD5, coming up with important scenes for later on. I guess it should be posted soon.

I could tape Casablanca for ya

Also, do you have Battle Royale yet? Cause I could tape my director's cut too.
