Haha, yes, I have officially converted Jonathan to Samurai Deeper Kyou (have you noticed that it's romanized 'Kyou' and not 'Kyo' !?) fandom. Thanks to Joe, for lending me the DVD-- even though for the first 15 minutes in my DVD player, it REFUSED TO LISTEN TO ME! Whatever damn cursor was supposed to appear on the main menu never did-- Jonathan and I just kept watching the preview for Kyou over and over, wondering why there was music, but no speech.

Well after much button mashing, I figured how to set the DVD player's Auto Play, and I was hysterically happy once it started playing. It'd been a while, so all the episodes were quite a refresher-- and it makes me want to add SDK to my growing collection of fandoms at Archive Obscura. If I ever get the damn site UP, that is! AUGH!

Okay, okay, please let me recollect here. It's Wednesday, but Monday and Tuesday were good, weird, cool... all that jass. Let me explain. Sunday night my mom didn't come home, because she'd gone and bicycled around for 20 miles. I tell you, she's nuts. That and she's a big nag and I'm starting to hate her, but she's my MOM, and she doesn't need grief from me this time of the year. Feh, I'm just being difficult and I know it. Bad me.

Anywho, so she was back in the afternoon when I woke up-- Jonathan called sometime around 12ish, but I couldn't see the first digit on my clock, so I thought it was 1 o'clock-- told him to come over around 3. When I realized my error, I called him back and told him to come over at 2-- still a ways away, but hey, I needed my sleep. Woke up a half hour before he was expected, throwing some outfit I can't particularly remember on. The plan-- go to Ripley's Believe It Or Not, RTA, and In-N-Out for Dinner. My mom didn't have cash to give me, so I had to survive with the $17 I had-- thinking Ripley's was $7.50.

Well, so we watched the first 2 episodes of Kyou for a while (got distracted some... >_>;) and I played SO2. He's my good-luck charm for that game, he is. >) But the best part about that comes later, from today, so lemme finish this story first. So we eventually left and went to RTA. Can't remember much about the ride there or anything, except that we were HUNGRY, got off at Mason, and went to In-N-Out first. My burger was quite onion-y, and amazingly, there was no huge line at Hooter's! More people at In-N-Out, really. Once again, didn't finish my fries. I wonder if I'm slowly developing an aversion to potatoes. Anyway, so we walked over to Ripley's after that-- the admission was something like $11.95, and since my meal was $5, I didn't have that much, and Jonathan had to spot me a few bucks to get admission-- luckily we managed to get a student discount, and it applied to college students like moi as well (whee, I love saying that! I'm a college student! Daigakusei! WHOOHOO!). There were the exhibits you can look at from the outside-- like that fountain. Hehe, Jonathan didn't know how it worked at first, and I was just grinning as he tried to figure it out.

They had this very cool jewel-projector thing inside a Mayan sculpture, and both of us tried to grab it. I kept trying to figure out how it worked-- it looked awfully real, even the pearl base, except when you moved. o_O Something about mirrors. Lots of mirrors in that place. They have that wax bust of the Cuban guy that could dislocate his eyeballs from his skull at will (gross!) and pictures of the old Ripley's comics. Many people famous for doing strange things with their body, like bouncing downstairs on their head, sitting upside-down (and twisted) on a 2.25" diameter glass, etc. Second floor was the best-- it had this "harp" with no strings, that you could "play" by moving your fingers under sensors. They also had different instruments, from Piano to Guitar, and even Dogs that you could play. There was a human unicorn, a guy with double pupils in each eye, and another guy who had a candle "welded" to his skull. And all of them were from Ancient China. o.O There was a HUUUUGE guy that got drafted (he was over 1,000 lbs when he died. That is SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO GROSS!) and a stegosaurus made entirely of car bumpers.

I forced Jonathan (hehe, that was amusing-- he didn't know what I was pushing him towards until I had him sitting down!) into one of those 'love tester' chairs for 50 cents-- big flashing lights and a vibrating chair. He got 'lousy.' ^^;; Many more exhibits-- that place is much bigger than it looks, and oh, too many opportunities that I didn't take. Or Jonathan didn't take. Whatever-- we made up for it later. Two things in the entire place scared me-- in the graveyard room, there was a chest that screamed when you opened it. And on the Earthquake exhibit, there was a peephole that I tried to look through-- and then the whole thing started shaking really violently, and I jumped right into Jonathan's arms. ^^;; Yep yep, scaredy cat. It was also amusing, they had two-way mirrors that people were making faces in (trying to touch your nose with your bottom lip is called 'girning!') and a machine that made your face symmetrical. Speaking of which, that inspired me for a project for 'Snapshot,' which I might get around to working on later.

After that, headed to RTA-- wow, the expansion makes it look SO big! Turns out the Lava Lamp I wanted was a mere 435 tickets away from what I had on hand. Hiss... so I guess I'll be playing a lot more ticket games this week, instead of iD (which sucks, as I've been watching the anime) or DDR (which I've also had need to improve on). Didn't stay for long, being broke, and I guess Jonthan was either short himself (he had pocket change and some tokens-- many of the quarters we spent on various 'games' at RBON) or figured it'd be rude to play without me. =) Saw Benji (weirdness is decreasing...) Sean (he thought some stupid kid was Jonathan! GAH! ANO BAKA!) and Jeremy (thankfully without Windex).

Now here came the weirdest, freakiest part of my day. As we were leaving, talked to Jeremy-- and then I heard my name called. I didn't recognize the guy calling my name-- I thought it was Reggie at first, but when Lonnie appeared from behind him, I realized it was Kevan (at least I THINK that's his name-- he knows me from when I first met Jeremy and his friends at the Metreon with Gina). LONNIE. At Pier 39. When I was looped around Jonathan.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! When last I saw Lonnie, he kept "stealing kisses" from me (Note, I DID NOT kiss him back, and in fact, was quite weirded out by the whole ordeal) as "one less than that Jonathan guy will get." I thought Lonnie would do something stupid and cruel upon seeing Jonathan, but he didn't-- he acted quite nice, if a little goofy. Uncomfortable hug, but he introduced himself to Jonathan, commented that he was tall (Jonathan is something like 6'1") and then said something that stained my face a cherry color. "She's told me a lot about you man. She likes you, as in, you know, LOOOOVES you." [made the I <3 U sign with his fingers] I was about to say "Ah, uh, no I d-don't--" but he continued (saving my ass) "She likes me too!" And proceeded to group hug the both of us (very weird for Jonathan, I'm sure). And then grind-- which was funny, but I shoved him off, and then we headed out.

*whew* That was so weird, I don't think I'm entirely over it. I was just so shocked seeing him walking towards me -GRINNING no less- and his just being at P39 weirded me out, because it's like the last place I'd ever expect to see him. I ask him why he's there, he says "hiding." I wonder if... nah. Whatever, not my business, probably don't want to know. Anyway, so I don't know what to expect or understand with Lonnie. Don't know if I should... anything.

Jonathan and I went back to my place, played video games and such. Not hungry after In-N-Out, but it was getting late. Still, I managed to keep him there until around 10:00. Hehe, he's finally starting to act like a teenage boy, instead of a turtle. Which makes me happier, because the more he opens up, the more pleasant surprises I get. It's not talking, that's for sure, but... ^_^ Well, I can't complain.

That night though, I had trouble sleeping. Went to bed after I took out the trash, around 10:30, but I couldn't sleep. Woke up again at 3, and was having hot and cold flashes, with a sick feeling in my stomach. Decided early on that I wasn't feeling up to going to school-- blah, missed Hiragana test. It would have been a waste of time anyway. I enjoyed myself much more with Jonathan. Yea, he came over again-- watched 3-5 of SDK (I got him angry at the EN song, you know the way it ends at the WORST PART!?) and played SO2-- like I said, he's my good luck charm. Not only did I succeed in finding Santa again and buying 2 Go Home Frogs, the Santa's Boots, and the Tri-Emblem, but I got OUT of there and saved! WHOO! Also remembered about the Fun City survival battle, and Jonathan helped me get all the way to the end-- I won I won I won I won! I finally got Fortune! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY! *spasms with pleasure* WHOO!

Of course, when I tried to beat Level 7, died miserably again, which sucks, even though everyone was so high in levels. I guess I have to wander around Level 6 more. Stupid FunnyThieves LVL 99 are a PAIN IN THE ASS, but who do I equip with the Funny Slayer? I think I'll ask a bunch of questions on the eternalsphere community later tonight. Like, WHEN DO YOU GET TO READ THE DAMN SECRET FILES!?!??!?! ;_;

*ahem* He had to go around 7:40, but he told me that he really didn't WANT to go, and I certainly wasn't making it easy for him to want to leave anyway. ^_^ I feel accomplished. Mom was nagging me incessantly about the dishes tonight-- she's so rude whenever I'm on the phone or with friends. GRR. I mean, she always shuts me up, and I listen whenever she's watching TV or on the phone. She locks her door no matter WHAT I have to say to her, and there are obviously other habits of hers that put her lower on my A-list than oh... say, a SLUG. But it might just be me being really irriatable, cuz it's that time of the year. I think I need the hike to Land's End on the 20th, and Jonathan hopefully will come with me, even though he's coming back from his super-hike (30 miles!!) that day.

Plums are yummy.

Worked on the SO2 guide some more, as well as the VERY long Part 3 of "Dream a Dream." We're getting more and more Non-AU from Clara's "School Daze," and by the end of this chapter, Things should be happening. =D Kagome getting some of her memories back, that is, and a nice happy cliffhanger that you won't be able to decipher by reading SD! Whoo! I got a review for "The Crest," as well, surprisingly, so I looked at the planning sheet for that. Yikes, very long and drawn out, complicated-- at LEAST 11 chapters, and I don't know whether that's just the KIKYOU book or whether I started the KAGOME book somewhere along those lines. o_O

My back and neck are really sore right now, and my ears hurt. =P But I had such a fantastic night~ I hope I see Jonathan tomorrow. (This song I'm listening to is 3 hours past its time.)
