Ladies and Gentlemen:

* Not washing your hands after you use the toilet (whether you "touch" something or not) is gross!

* Sticking your hands under a stream of water (hot OR cold) for a few seconds is not washing your hands! YOU NEED TO USE SOAP.

* The bathroom is no place for phone calls. Don't call people. Don't answer the phone, especially if you yourself are on the can doing #1 OR #2! IT IS DISGUSTING!

* I don't care how big your hands are, you don't need more than a foot (if that) of paper towels to dry your hands!

my problem is the last one D: I mean, sometimes I just use a lot because I don't want to keep getting a crap loud each time (bathroom wise or drying hands wise)

D: But yeah, the stuff before number 4 sounds really gross. GROSS. I hate it when I can hear people not wash there hands.

The phone call one brings up bad memories. When I worked at the real estate company *coughsCrescentHeights*, there was this one guy that was at the sales office who would call me constantly. One time, I was in the bathroom, so I couldn't answer the phone. But then again, why would I? I was on the can doing my business. I get back into the office, and when the phone rang. I picked it up, and the guy yelled at me because I didn't answer the phone prior. I said, "my God! I can't even take a shit without you getting on my case! I was in the bathroom, okay!?" If you work for a company, and someone from a high position treats you like that, get out of there while you still have a chance.

I don't wash my hands after I use a public bathroom. Normally, I wait till I'm outside the b/r and make use of liberal amounts of the hand sanitizer I keep in my purse.

Believe it or not - I've never heard anyone talking on the phone in the bathroom.

Hand sanitizers are cool, but the vast majority of people I see that don't wash their hands don't have them. Sometimes the soap in a bathroom sucks... I've seen non-anti-bacterial soap, and I have to ask myself "If it doesn't kill bacteria, what DOES it do? How can it clean if it doesn't kill the most basic of germs?" But overdosing on sanitizer is bad, too, since scientists are thinking that's why bathrooms are home to more powerful strains of formerly-regular bacteria.

And consider yourself lucky you haven't-- yesterday there was a woman speaking a foreign language while she was on the can, doing a heavy #2. I was absolutely appalled. Plus I'm sure the person on the other end had to have heard the various toilet flushings. I mean, how would it make you feel as someone on the other end of a call, to hear that sort of thing? Ew!

Working in a grocery store, I have see all 4 nearly everyday. One person was suspended because said person had been reported multiple times to have used the bathroom and returned to the deli department forgoing hand washing.

I really hate it when people are on the cell phone in the next stall.
