Where are you, girls?

I'm looking for girls/women who have played FFX-2. As you may know, I'm doing a paper for my JOUR 371 class, "Women, Men and Media," titled Gendered Language and the Double Standard in the Final Fantasy X and X-2 Games.

I've got a lot of research so far, but I'd like the voices of some female gamers out there to help liven my presentation up a bit (and I don't mean literal voices, though if you want to submit a *.wav or *.mp3 of you SPEAKING, that's fantastic). I'd like any or all of these questions answered, if you have the time...

(1) Did you play FFX? Why or why not? If you did play it, did you finish it? Why or why not?
(2) Why did you play FFX-2?
(3) Did you enjoy it? Why or why not?

Answer: Yes I have played FFX, Why I played FFX because my brother is a huge fan of the video game. After a while of watching him play, I saw it had a really good story and plot to it and it had amazing graphics. I also loved the characters and the amazing creaturs it had. It was my first final fantasy experiance. I did actually get to finish it after long months of waiting on my brother finishing it, but I still never got to see the ending first hand until i finished it myself. Why I finished it was because I was determined to know what would happen to Tidus and his journey.


(2) Why did you play FFX-2?
Answer: I played FFX-2 because I had heard rumors that Tidus would be returning. I had really tried to imagine how Tidus would of return after he had disapeared from the original game. Plus it was another way of recovering old memories and wonderful characters (including new ones!)

(3) Did you enjoy it? Why or why not?
Answer: I did enjoy it, yes. The only thing I did not enjoy was probably...well, maybe the style of battling? It just didn't stick with me as FFX did but I was able to go pass that and enjoy the game and story through and through.
