Okay, so I finished putting my bookcase (the new one with the holes in it... freakin' "rustic" finish) in its place, and I started putting books back on the shelves. Now to decorate with posters.

So I'm going through my tubes of Sailor Moon posters, and I start noticing something odd for the Sailor Moon S (anime) posters I have.

Chibi-Moon is supposed to have a circular brooch with a heart-shape in the middle. This brooch unlocks and reveals the 30th century Ginzuishou.

However, in one wall scroll/poster, she seems to have a heart-shaped pendant, similar to what she has in SuperS. But unlike Sailor Moon, Chibi-Moon doesn't gain her Super form until SuperS, correct? So she wouldn't have a heart-shaped pendant...

Furthermore, Sailor Moon gains the feathers in her hair upon turning into Super Sailor Moon, but Chibi-Moon doesn't have them for herself when she first appears, right? That's what I remember from the episodes I watched last night, and I have at least one piece of art that shows her without the barrettes until she's in Super form. But then I have a few posters where she DOES have the feathers in her normal (pink skirt with no stripes) form! Or does Chibi-Moon gain those when Sailor Moon gains her Super form?

I know when Chibi-Moon goes Super, she gets the barrettes, new earrings (her pink studs become crescent moons), a heart-shaped pendant (to be more precise, it's crystalline like Super Sailor Moon's, with a crown on top, a star below the crown, and wings attached to the star), a new collar (yellow with a pink heart, rather than her pink-with-pink heart that she had before), and a new skirt (striped, like Super Sailor Moon's, but pink and yellow, rather than blue and yellow). Her tiara also changes from having a red gem to having a crescent moon, like Sailor Moon's has since Super. Also, the stripes on her collar (she has two) turn from white to yellow, and her boots gain a yellow crescent moon at the top.

So... er, basically, do I have messed-up art, or does Chibi-Moon have stages in her costume when she gains certain accessories? I'm confused.

It's been awhile since I've seen S. I'd have to look at your pictures as well. I thought that Chibimoon got a minor upgrade to costume when Usagi got the chalice, but I'd have to rewatch those two episodes to make sure.

Yup, I just watched it, and she has the barrettes-- maybe the heart-shaped pendant I saw in the one poster (I may have a pic of it I can post, otherwise I can take a picture of it and post it that way) is just a fluke?

Also, I think there's no HUGE differences between Sailor Moon S's Super Sailor Moon and SuperS's Super Sailor Moon-- the only one I know of for sure is that she has wings on her pendant, which becomes the Crisis Moon Compact rather than the Cosmic Moon Compact.
