IT WORKED!

I'm just thrilled Phoenix opened up when I clicked on the icon the FIRST TIME. Usually I get a RealBasic error.

Anyway, the point of this post is another one of my "I'm lost and confused and need some ideas" posts.

So my 22nd birthday this year falls on a Saturday. I can pretty much do whatever I want, go wherever I want-- within reason (any place requiring more than a two hour drive is NOT "reasonable"). I could take off somewhere starting Friday evening when I get off work (5pm, unless I ask for the day off), or I could just do something on the 14th. The question is... what?

I'm never one for repetition unless it's really do-able and FUN (which, let's be honest, Hawaii by my lonesome AIN'T), so what should I do? Usually the whole lack of a car thing presents a problem, but I wouldn't mind shelling out some extra dough for public transportation and/or a cab. It would just depend on where I'm going, with who (hopefully SOMEBODY), and what we'd do there.

What I've done:
* Bowling
* Dinner & a Movie (or just a really nice dinner)
* Party at Jill's house
* Hawaii (hard to top)
* Amusement park (Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios)

I dunno, any ideas?

You should try going to a shooting range and trying out all kinds of guns.

Bonfire? Maybe it won't be spare the air day this time. =P

Here in Los Angeles, that's not really an option. Not only are bonfire most likely forbidden on their beaches (due to wildfire risks), but there's no beach around me. And while I probably COULD go up to S.F (eek, more money). and do that, there's no reason why I can't do that over Spring Break, when I'll be there as planned.

Actually if you really wanted to I'm pretty sure you could find a beach down here that does allow it. I've heard stories of people having high school bonfires and I was even invited to one first year, so I'm sure there are beaches near that allow that. The only problem is, I can't remember which beaches they are. I know one's really close to here and even within busing distance, Santa Monica, maybe?
