So, a few of you may be aware that I have some posts sponsored by PayPerPost. Some people are really vehemently against sponsored-posts, but I think that if posters (like myself) are "transparent" about them (that is, you state, as I am and as I have in the past that "this is a sponsored post, I am getting paid to say this, but these words are my own."), then there shouldn't be an issue. In any case, PPP has made some changes lately-- both good and bad, but one of the good changes has got my attention.

They've introduced something called "Review My Post," where I would include a button on the bottom of my regular posts (that is, posts about ordinary things that I write about), and if you want to "review my post" and make your OWN post about it, you can-- and you make $7.50 for each time you do it. Plus, when you do that, you sign up as a PPP member, so you can see all sorts of other opportunities available to you. You end up creating a huge network of people who post for sponsors, people who review other posts, and people who review your posts in their blogs/journals.

Of course, since this is an affiliation sort of thing, I get something out of it, too. It works like this:
(1) I make a post. There's a button down at the bottom that says 'Review My Post!'
(2) You click on that button, sign up for PPP, write a post ABOUT MY POST, and get paid for it.
(3) When you get paid, I get paid.

Also, if you ever make a post with 'Review My Post!' on the bottom (and it's really easy to add the link; when you sign up for PPP, it's under "Affiliate Tools" and "Review My Post." All you have to do is copy and paste the code into a journal entry!), I'd be glad to return the favor and write a post for you. Then, new people can see BOTH our posts and THEY can sign up, make money, and join the network of discussing things we enjoy indepth. No sponsors involved. :)

What I like best about this actually isn't the money-making part-- it's the fact that with each post, you build a network of people-- also known as "increase blog traffic". So if I write a post about something I find interesting, you can make your OWN post about it, too-- and refer back to my post as being the "inspiration." Slowly but surely, you build up a chain, and people can get a wide variety of opinions and start a long discussion.

So far, I haven't seen anything that indicates what sort of posts are qualified to be paid, and it IS a third-party that judges, not me judging your posts, or you judging mine. That means that it's free game to post about whatever you want, encourage people to read your blog, and learn more about you, and your thoughts and opinions.

So, do you think it sounds interesting, too? Let's network!
