Ah well, doesn't look like A|X (not Armani Exchange; Anime Expo!) is in the works for me unless I just do a day pass and grab a shuttle there or somesuch. Which feels like it'd be kind of stupid, but truthfully I'd do anything to make up for the lackluster dealer's room and good showings/panels that were so few and far between. Unless... someone's got a hotel room already (Mom procrastinated on getting the room so much that they were already sold out for the weekend by the time she called... yesterday!); I'd be willing to pay my fair share so long as I had something relatively cushy to sleep on (chair, rollaway, kitty bed).
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Meredith Sweet was a very helpful, very cheery worker. I would be more than happy to come back knowing that Meredith is here helping out (give her a raise!) :)
From work. :D TEH YAY! This is the kind of stuff that makes me glad that even if I'm in "tech support" or "customer service," I really am helping people out and making their day a bit brighter and easier. I like teaching, even if it's something as simple as how to register for classes or how to get wireless. And hey, who doesn't love a good ego stroke every once in a while?
For "A Moment Too Late" (one of my Fushigi Yuugi oneshots)
This so stunningly beautiful! The descriptions are so vivid, and the characters almost jump off the page.
I love the introspect into Tamahome and Miaka's thoughts.
Tamahome's reaction to the news was so true to his character, it made it all the more touching.
I absolutely loved the end sentence- it gives a sense of hope.
Beautiful story!
I haven't touched fandoms outside of YGO and SM in a long time, and I unfortunately still have fics on FFnet that are sorely in need of formatting. Getting reviews on ancient fics are just the way to prompt me to do that, and so I reformatted the fic so it's more readable. I added a few lines here and there, fixed the fangirl Japanese- and I still like what I wrote. AMTL was one of my first forays into angst, and even though I "cheated" in the end, I still like it for what it is.
Now let's hope I can get those Ceres DVDs so I can get more into Watase Yuu's delicious works. :D
