staplerx, ohsupervinchan, or richlikesmaids: I finally got Stepmania Complete torrented. It was in SMZIP format, but the SMPACKAGE program didn't want to open it. I tried opening it with StuffIt, but it always tells me that "Archive Verification Failed." It runs the expansion anyway, but it never finishes.

;_; HELP! I have this 854MB file of DDR-ness, and I can't use it!

Try renaming the extension to .zip instead of .smzip.

Tried that, too. Updated my StuffIt to ver 9.0, but it still only opens part of the archive (Announcers, Skins, Themes), and not everything else. When I try to use the Windows unzipper, it freezes. Do I need to get a new program, is there some password I need... what? ;_;

When something like "Archive Verification Failed" comes up, the first thought that comes to my head is that the file did not finish downloading, the connection timed out, and Windows just thinks it did. It happens... a lot. The fact that you can partially extract what's inside is further proof. Redownload the file from scratch and try again, keep note of the file size in the download window, and then compare it to the file's size when its done, if they match, then you ought to be good to go.
