Well I just came back from Kaiser Woodland Hills/Urgent Care, and the doc said I don't need to take Vicodin if Ibuprofen works for me. I also have Hydrocordone (generic Vicodin) here at home in a stronger dosage if I really, really want it.
I'm not supposed to wet my hand at all if I can avoid it, which means plastic-bagging it in the shower and not washing it. So I'm trying to avoid using it when it could get dirty. That means no Jamba. (Yay!)
I'm taking Ibuprofen for the pain and Keflex for the possible bacterial infection. I have to see an Orthopedic doctor sometime this week, and by next week the stitches should come out. But they think I may have severed either a tendon or a nerve, which is why I can't bend the top joints of either my ring finger or my pinky. I look like Sally from Nightmare before Christmas-- all sewn up and pale. o_O
Yeah, pisses me off, but it was my mistake. I'm managing to type this with very numb, very stiff fingers that shoot pain every few seconds. The bandages came off earlier, and now here I am, trying to type (because I have stuff due).

(And many cans of dog food have the little lid peel thingy like on fruit... o.o So that's weird that it didn't.)
