So far, so good. I had a party at Jill's on Tuesday, yesterday Scott and I went out to Outback Steakhouse and I ate an ENTIRE delish 9 oz. steak plus salad, baked potato, *AND* a hot fudge sundae... and tonight is my actual birthday, and I hope to get the package mom sent me (more stuff from home) today. Plus a quick stop at Borders for a new journal would be nice-- and if I have the spare cash, the mod chip and a few manga I'm still lacking (HYD 8, 9; HG 7, FD 1)
I took my second Astronomy midterm, and since I like the class better and I have More Fun With Highlighters, I think I did much better on that midterm than the last one, and that test compared to the ones from Sociology and Philosophy. Prof. Wallingford is so funny! He always throws in some crack answers that have nothing to do with Astronomy (e.x. The three variable star types are... a) Roseanne Arnold, Madonna, and Cher...). ^_^ It's fun.
As for ASTROLOGY, well, my horoscopes don't seem to say anything fantastic, but maybe it's because I missed all the "Born On This Day" places? Everything seems to be saying "have fun, but be cautious" and to not overreact too quickly. Sounds like me, too, so I'd best heed that advice, ne? -_- Though according to a past life reading (the full one is $20! Yeesh!) I was somewhere in ancient Palestine... HRRRM!
*grin* The funny thing is, that like, could actually happen. Well, in terms of who's who, anyway. o_O Could Amber and I ever be TRUE rivals?! GEISHA DEATHMATCH 2020!! *giggle* But if I make so much money and last so long, why am I still a maiko? HEY!!!
I have to get going to my Sociology appointment now-- I think we'll be getting back the results of the midterm from way back when, plus if Prof. Gardner (hee hee!) remembers me, maybe she'll be able to tell me how I'm doing in the class. The building where the meeting is, the Faculty Office Building (FOB) is being renamed to something like Eucalyptus Hall... all the numbered/named buildings are being named after trees. I'd rather we have at least one building ending in "berry" (hence that being the subject line of that post the other day) because it would sound more fun to go there.
I hope I get some emails from SMRFFers! >_> Even though I feel like I've been a bad, non-participatory person... *wails* I wish my friggin' layouts would do what they're told! Why do things have to look so good in Dreamweaver, but so horrid on the browser screen, for no damned explanation!? Grr, Argh! I need to redo BEA too, because it'll just eat away at my soul if I don't. Someone wanna explain why it's not showing up right? (Don't remind me of DRFA. That's starting to chew on me too)
I'll post the final JAPAN post and pics later tonight, when I'm sitting in front of my comp. Hopefully when Grandpa gets back from work today I can swing by Sav-On (unless Scott is, for some reason, still at home when I'm done with school, as his classes don't start till 2) and pick up the final set of pictures. They were supposed to be done yesterday, but oh well... They mostly came out good except for one gray shot and two "thumb-on-lens" (I hate that~!) shots. -_- The others came out, but with glare or blur, due to motion. One of the pics I took at Square-Enix, the World Map from FFXI, as painted by... That Famous Guy came out ALMOST SOOOO PERFECT-- except for a bit of thumb and blur, and that's because the bastard on the tour group who claimed to be TEH PHOTOGRAPHER OF DOOOOM decided to literally SHOVE me! -_- I swear to god, I HATE GUYS LIKE THAT!
By the way, I want to make a Michiru/Haruka icon that says: "We don't need guys. After all, if homosexual men are 'gay,' then homosexual women should be called 'ecstatic.' And we are! WHOO!" Or something to that effect. I got the quote from Baba's Wild Words from Wild Women calendar. ^_^
