pockyken, I sent your CD yesterday. It's by priority mail, so it should hopefully get to you by the end of the week or Tuesday of next week, at the latest.
(2)cutieme4u and any other applicable parties-- I picked up a European Experience 2005 travel book from STA Travel, the student airline travel agency at my school... they're putting together this massive package of opportunities for Euro Trips with Contiki Travel, which, as I said, is targeted toward 18-35 year olds. Lemme know if you want me to quote anything.
(3) Just finished taking the AP Style Test #2... it wasn't bad. The whole "lay, laid, laying" thing is pretty tricky though, as is "lie, lay, lain, lying." Turns out though with Story #4 due, the revised lead of Story #3, potential extra credit, *AND* the exams, she postponed Story #4s due date. -_- I hate it when I bother to work on something hard and then it ends up being worth diddly-squat of my time. I could have done the extra credit!
(4) I still hate my philosophy teacher. Yesterday I wanted to ask him a question (is there such a thing as a "formal" fallacy?) and he was talking, so he told me to put my hand down. He never called on me to answer what he KNEW was a question. Later on, when he was asking for commentary on some fallacy example, people were shouting things out, and I added something --not shouting, mind you. I'm in the front row and I saw no need to shout-- but he said "in this class, we raise our hands," treating me like I'm some sort of 3-year-old! Seriously, I hate him. I'm not learning anything in there aside from some joke Latin.
(5) My birthday's tomorrow! WHEEEE! This year is shaping up to be pretty good, actually, even if I'm getting rid of the whole "But I'm a teenager!" excuse. Yesterday I went to Jill's (my cousin's) since Kara (my aunt from NYC) is in CA for a visit, and they threw me a surprise birthday party-- complete with cake, and it was a DELICIOUS cake, too! ^_^ I got some cute candles, a body care package, and a photo album as presents. When I was telling my 2nd cousin Nikki about Magic Mountain on Halloween, I flung my arm out too far and tossed my bracelet from Japan into the trees... ^^; Luckily later on, Jill found it for me...
Scott came over after he was done with class and met Kara, and got some leftovers (we had lasagna and salad) while we watched Episode I (Star Wars, that is)... I need to watch it and Episode II again before May, when Episode III comes out. This is going to be a killer summer, that's for sure.
Anyway, since Passover is this weekend, there's going to be a whole shebang. Lots of cleaning to be had... geez, all the pants Grandpa bought me before I went to Japan are getting trashed without reason. My dark denim Southpole jeans now have a hole in the left leg hem, my Arizona khaki capris have spots all over them from who-knows-where... ;_; All that's left to get trashed are my cute light denim capris and my other new jeans with the satin belt (and the leg hems on those are already getting trashed). WHY DO I HAVE TO BE SO SHORT!?!?!??! ;_;
Stupid pants. (Oh yeah, Japan #3 - FINAL post coming soon. Sorry it's been so long)
EDIT: It just occurred to me that I could be an evil little spore and start an alternate 30 kisses community, one that actually updates regularly. Is that sinful? Is that WRONG?
