Gawd, I love this song. I want the lyrics so bad. Oh, in case you couldn't figure out, it's "In Your Life" by La Bouche, featuring the late Melanie Thornton. But I can't find the lyrics anywhere-- and it took me forever just to find the artist name. I heard it twice in the past few days-- once today, once the day before yesterday, on Party 92.7 which, despite its repetitiveness, is quickly becoming my new favorite radio station. =P I'm actually listening to radio again!! I downloaded the MP3 (and thank god it's complete this time) so I can use it for an AMV I have an idea for *nod nod* Yes, I'm so inspired! AMV! Fanfiction! Layouts! Projects! WHEE!!!

Did I forget to mention in the last entry that I'm actually going to LA on the 11th of April? I'm kinda paranoid, and I'm hoping Mike can give me some sort of advice, since it's been so long since I've been to a family Passover. I remember most of them, and I was usually miserable. But it's totally my choice to go this time, and it has nothing to do with my dad-- Jean dying has reminded me that my grandparents aren't going to be here forever, and I should take every opportunity to be with them. When I'm there, I want to cook, I want to talk to Baba and Grandpa, I want to learn, I just want to be there and really experience the place for once. I wonder if they'll let me read from the Haggadah (probably spelled wrong, me in all my un-Jewishness) this year. I used to all the time, and I even got applause a few times, but it was always embarassing that I couldn't read Hebrew. I still can't, but I have to say I don't regret not going to Hebrew Academy (I would have had to drop out of reg. high school) and getting Bat Mitzvah'd. My only reasons to do so would have been purely selfish, and not spiritual at all. But hey, I'll never know, will I?

The Heritage Music Competition is at Fullerton College on Apr. 25th. They moved Springfest (formerly Mayfest) back to May from Apr. 25 (they decided the choir/band organizations were big enough to relocate the date. Yay!). Now it's May 2nd. I'll be working shifts with journalism and anime club... and other school people can come and join in on the fun! we have everything from delish ethnic and summery food to contests and bouncy blow-up jump things. =D Anywho, so the competition isn't in Anaheim... I wonder if my grandparents (or anyone from The Family) could come. That would be very cool. No one from my family besides my mom has really seen me sing, and if my choir takes Superior (like we usually do) then it'd be even cooler. =D

The Road Trip for SMRFF has been decided from Apr. 8th to the 30th! Stef wants me to be a co-bus-mama (YAAAY!) so that means I'll have to be there on the 8th when the trip takes off... or I could join in when I get back from LA on the 14th. And I'll be gone again on the 24-25th... @_@; I wonder if that means I can actually bus-mama. Or maybe I can bring along a transporter. Hey, ropa brought along monkeys! In case you're wondering, it's not a real road trip, it's just a round robin piece of fiction. We (all the SMRFFers) end up somewhere- in this case, at Ely (my "onee-chan" and one of the list mods)'s wedding. =D I'm so happy for her! And Stef is getting married sometime eventually (well, she was engaged last time I checked) too! WAAAAIII! I feel young. @_o

Okay, so the extension product project is done-- Slava wasn't in class today, but that's because he overslept-- he actually hunted Kripa down, and they both came over this afternoon (I'd been falling asleep, but they got lost and had to call me to find their way to my house... from down the block) to work on it. Kripa bought the 3-fold posterboard (I owe her $2.16 for that) and we decorated it with construction paper, a picture I drew and colored with my super-cool colored pencils, and those even cooler, more-expensive Berol Prismacolor markers I got in some garage sale. =D It looks killer now, we just need to add the marketing report. But Slava hasn't emailed me his questions yet, I guess I'll check in the morning and print it out. Mom bought new print cartridges, so all should be well.

*yawn* God, I'm tired. Much inspiration-ness, TV-glued-ness, thinking (blah), planning, scheming, designing, talking, and reminiscing done. All very mind-bending. Mom ordered pizza and everything, and despite the Coke, I'm so tired. This song is probably repeating itself so many times by now that I'm tired from that, too. @_@; Thursday... Media Academy. And I should probably work on that essay I missed from stupid Thompson's yesterday. Or something. Gaah... zzzz...
