Almost done, and then it's Turkey Day!

azuriteWhew, thank goodness today's almost over. Besides Math being annoying and CAD being a bore (note to self: try LOFT tool to collapse the corners of the polygon mesh blimp), I had to go to the dentist and endure more "fun". I kept choking on the damn saliva-sucker thing. I hate that. At least it was my last appointment for now-- all that's left is a normal cleaning, and then all that Extreme Makeover crap-- veneers, braces, etc. -_- Blah.
On the travel front, here's how it's going to be:
* This Thursday morning, we're all going to Fresno for Thanksgiving.
* I come back Friday morning with Joyce and them, and have the weekend to myself. I should probably study for finals, and get the investment report done.
* After finals end on Dec. 9, Scott's taking me to Burbank Airport, where we will sadly part for over 5 weeks. I'm going to Seattle for the weekend, then San Francisco on the 12th. I'll stay there through the 26th of January.
* On the bright side, I'm making arrangements for Scott to come up and see me in SF on the 19th of January. One-way from Burbank to Oakland is $39, which is not bad, but since we both want to go back together, how would we do it? I'm leaning toward Amtrak's Coast Starlight, because a) I've done it before and I like it, b) It's more romantic and sightsee-y, and c) It's more fun. The catch? Coach seats are $102 for the both of us, which puts the grand travel total at $145 or so... which is more than I have in my accounts right now. But it's MY idea to have Scott come up, so yes, I should pay for it (right?). But I had my heart set on getting my PS2 modded ($110), and I feel bad about asking ANYONE for money because a) Baba and Grandpa are fielding my way to Seattle-- my first time up to Washington!, b) Dad's a teacher, and therefore makes slim to nil to begin with; he also pays for my dental, and all the overage insurance can't cover, c) Mom's been locked out for 8 weeks; even with compensation, I'd feel horrible asking her for money.
What do I do? If I don't get the tickets (at least for the plane) soon, I'll be screwed. ;_; HELP!!!
Oh yeah-- I've finally uploaded all of WDKY (that there is for now) to Dragonfayth, as well as all my other S/A fics (that I know of/have hard copies of). We have 47 stories and 40 authors, I believe! Yatta! But I'd like some more hits, more skins, and so on. Come on, let's revitalize! And, since FFnet's up again, I posted WDKY12 there (as well as to MMorg). More yatta! Darkness Rising's WDKY page also got the update, though I think I still need to write more review replies.
Tomorrow-- a take it easy day, as far as I know. No homework due, only two lectures. Sadly, Scott's leaving for San Diego tonight, so what'll happen is Grandpa picking me up, dropping me at the Mall to get my nails done (it's so gross when you can't even run your fingers through your hair because hair gets caught between your nails!) and then home to chill and polish off the Turkey tape! ^_^
Yeeeah.
