You're Not Me
Aug. 18th, 2004 01:51 pmBuy the Yu-Gi-Oh Movie Soundtrack. Now. You can win a chance to go to New York City and have a guest voice acting role (I bet it's for the Pharaoh's Memory arc, since DOOM is supposed to be dubbed already) on Yu-Gi-Oh! Runners up get this wicked cool prize pack, with a shirt, Season 1 on DVD (6 DVDs!!) and the Yu-Gi-Oh Movie on DVD (waaaay before anyone else!). I wish I'd won, but... nope. Still, who knows if I'll get into the second chance drawing. So yeah, buy the soundtrack, get the game card, and go to yugiprize.com... ^_^ And take me along as your guest!
Just got back from Target and Mervyn's with Baba... I admit, I splurged at Target once I saw they had the Yu-Gi-Oh CD for only $12, and "A Walk To Remember" soundtrack for only $10. :D (By the way, the current song I'm listening to fits Kaiba to a tee. I loved that part in the movie where he was flying the BEWJet!) I also snagged a nice notebook for Geography class, and some white out pens (you can never have enough of those). Baba and I swung by Mervyn's for a new Jansport-- no purple! -_- What happened to last year when lavender Jansports were all the rage? I settled for a nice blue one called "Blue Stream" or something. It's big enough, and looks pretty sturdy... guess we'll see how it lasts.
I've got to make a new layout for DR-- and I'm thinking Magician's Valkyria, just because it'd be following a trend. I won't have to change the CSS, either, if I leave the background black and all. But so far, I only have one pic of her-- from the soundtrack cover!
Haha, it's funny that people tried to guess which cards would be the 4 movie promos, and almost all the guesses were wrong. No Magician's Valkyria, no Ultimate Dragon, and no weird ones... we did get the "Dark Magic Priest" or "Sorcerer of Dark Magic," as he's really known... people came up with some whack names for him including "Magic Heirophant Black." o_O Dude, it's an "American" movie. "American" names. :P
Then again, I can blame Janime for spreading false information. :P Everyone knew that at least TWO of the cards were going to be Pyramid of Light, and Blue Eyes Shining Dragon, but they got the name of the Magician and the fourth card-- Watapon(!) completely back-asswards. I *wish* they'd released Magician's Valkyria, but she'll probably be a Secret Rare, just as DMG was, in a future expansion pack.
And of course, the one card regular schmos like me will never see is "Card of Sanctity," which was given to winners of the WB Kids World Championships contest, and I think a few of the tourney participants (either GBA or WC contestants).
Anywho, I'm going to be going to Jill's house to babysit the kids while Jill, Kim, and Joey go to some concert. Guess I'll be stayin' the night or something, but I still have to call Jill up, pack up some sort of bag, and all that jazz. On the bright side, lots of cable, some cool movies, a pool, and an N64 and a GameCube. MarioKart like w00t, yo!
(They mention Justin Timberlake in "For the People" on the Yu-Gi-Oh Movie soundtrack. LMAO!)
