It's 106 degrees outside here in Northridge, California. It didn't feel like it today, but then, I spent most of the day inside an air-conditioned building (Quizno's, the Library-- hell, even Goodwill!) O_O Kind of amazing. I wonder what the weather back "home" is like? Steph said it was "nice." ^_^ Yep, I actually got to talk to someone on the phone! But the reception here sucks. All those lerp-infested trees or whatever. Then again, it is a valley, and this IS suburbia...

I'm sure that AvP will be playing at the PacTheaters at the Fashion Center/Mall, but what about Yu-Gi-Oh!? I went to Fandango and MovieFone.com, but neither of them had advanced sales or ticket show times for the Fashion Galleria. -_- I want to go BEFORE Friday so I can confirm that both movies are showing in advance, and, if at all possible, buy my tickets now. And then arrive early on show-day so I don't have to be waiting in line with a bunch of whiny kids. Okay, I might just end up being stuck in a theater with them, but... somehow I think I can block it out. ^^; I'll try, anyway.

I need to make new icons. I'm so damn Photoshoppy lately, but not fic-writer-y. I should be.

Oh, does anyone know of something that does a word count? Don't say Word or any Office programs, I don't have them on this comp, and I don't want to download or install them. I wish Dreamweaver had a word count plug-in (that I know of), but it doesn't. Help?

Next! Thalia. Fred and Amber, did I get your attention? (I hope so). She's got loads of gorgeous songs, but some are in English, and some are in Spanish and... >_< My Spanish sucks, okay? So do you know of which ones she has in both languages, and the titles? I was looking for "Don't Look Back" and I couldn't find it, but I don't know what the Spanish title might be. And I know there is a Spanish version, I'm 75% sure I heard it at Amber's house one time... yeah, anyway, I like her music, but somehow I must have forgotten to burn her stuff onto my CDs! My Thalia folder is all gone... ;_;

And finally on the music playlist of the day, Utada Hikaru. Hikki-chan! For the experts, how many different versions/remixes are there of "Distance" or "Final Distance?"

That's her offcial website. You can look for her stuff there. I'm a big fan of hers. I love her work on MariMar, a spanish soap opera that appeared on channel 14, the spanish language TV station a few years back :D

the Yu-Gi-OH movie tixs arent available for presale up here..my friend tried getting some but they were like " wait till friday morn". I guess they think it wont sell out.

Ah hah! Thanks for the info. I plan to swing by PacTheaters at the earliest opportunity (which will probably Friday Morning, all things considered) and grab tixs. I don't care what they say, there were enough screaming tween boys at the Championship to make me think that at least ONE of the shows will show out... especially if they don't have it in a big theater, like AvP definitely will be. Then again, it's been so long since I've been here, I remember stadium seating here is REAL, and 500 seats is considered a small theater. -_-;
