azurite: Part of the "What Doesn't Kill You" series of fanfic icons (wdky (general))
I haven't done review replies in a while, and you might think that because I have the ability to use FFnet's new Review Reply option, I would take advantage of it. However, the thing with the FFnet Review Reply is that they are private, not posted anywhere on the site. With these, not only can you see which reviews I took special notice of, but which ones asked pertinent enough questions for me to answer. As always, keep your eyes peeled for interesting information or secret spoilers!

Note: I do not post all reviews that I receive here; only the ones that I feel I should reply to. For all reviews, I do NOT edit them for content/spelling/etc. in any way.

For lengthier reviews, I will insert my commentary where appropriate. The actual review will resume in italicized text.

If more reviews come in for this (or any older) chapter(s), then I will respond to them at the BOTTOM of this page, and indicate a “last updated” section here at the TOP. If there is no LAST UPDATED area, that means this post has not changed since the original post date.

Okay, so my last three entries are What Doesn't Kill You Review Replies for chapters 19, 20, and 21 respectively. Chapter 22 is now up on FFnet and the old version of my site, though I'm still working on correcting past chapters before I put the story up to that point on Dragonfayth. MMorg is coming next.

Blue Eyes and Apricots will soon do an email check-- so if you joined with an email you're no longer using, please correct it now! I will be sending a mass email to everyone, and if it gets bounced, I will remove those members from the list. I already did that for one person tonight ([livejournal.com profile] winterwing3000? Our "problem" is solved.) and I will do it for more. TAFL also notified me that they got my "Finished" form, so it's official-- we're official! However, I seem to be having a weird error with the script where people are joining but not showing up in the admin panel. I don't know what is causing this, as the site IS patched against security issues, and I haven't made any changes to the config.php file. Hopefully I'll get some sort of reply on the forums.

Dragonfayth may also be having errors-- has anyone besides [livejournal.com profile] guardian_kysra had trouble uploading stories? If so, the problem might be a timeout error caused by Copy-Pasting the stories rather than uploading them from a file. Try saving the stories as TXT, DOC, or HTML files, and uploading them that way. If that still doesn't work, the script HAS updated to 2.0.3, and there have been 2 security patches that I wasn't aware of. I'm going to find out what I need to do to fix these and still maintain the mods we've made. Here's a tentative list of mods, just in case the site gets buggy in the next few days as I update:
* Fanfiction.Net Author Link
* LiveJournal Link
* Advanced TinyMCE editor with PHP Compressor (+ Security update)
* Featured Author block
* Poll block
* Story "Type" mod

I'm going to find out if I can make the patch updates to the files without overwriting the mods; since I have so many mods, I'm not sure which files I edited, and I don't want to have to do them over and over again. But if you experience any problems, let me know.

I'm going to be a little batty lately what with work today, tomorrow, and Wednesday, and also trying to juggle getting money for Study Abroad any way that I can. I'll still be working on site updates and WDKY23, but if I'm hard to reach, that's why.

Oh, [livejournal.com profile] baine? I read those chapters you sent me, and I have this to say about that: YOU FREAK ME OUT, WOMAN! That's pretty much all I can think of, though.

Er, anything else? If so, you'll find out later. I have to get SOME sleep tonight.

Okay, so I'm at school right now-- in the library, to be specific. I had to be here at school for my ITR University Help Desk position at 8am in the friggin' morning, and despite all my best efforts to go to bed at a reasonable hour last night and go straight to sleep, I failed miserably. You can just read the time when I posted all those WKDY review replies, and you'd see half the reason.

So yeah, I still have lots to do, but so far, so good. I'm probably going to be here all day learning the many different problems and solutions people run into when trying to work/use/break/eat a computer here on campus, or access campus programs and apps. At least I'm getting paid for all this, especially considering I'm limited to 20 hrs/week from the ITR when the semester actually starts. I'm planning on keeping the bookstore job, even if it pays less, because it gives more hours and is frankly an easier job.

We had a 2 hour break from 12:30 to 2:30, so I have a few minutes before I have to head downstairs again and start memorizing stuff. Despite getting lunch at Subway, I'm still feeling the tiredness, especially now in the afternoon. But this time, I have no choice but to fight it. I might be going home just before 5pm, but even so... no rest for the wicked! :O

Ugh, but seriously? 2 hours? I went to the Financial Aid office; I can't get an unsubsidized loan unless my parents get denied for a PLUS loan. That shaves $5000 or so off my expected financial aid. I really have to apply for a bunch of scholarships and loans now; I just HAD to pick the most expensive (culturally enriching, well worth every yen) program in IP! I also talked to the transcript officer; I can spend $14 or so and get 6 transcripts; one for CSUN's IP, one for Tokiwa, and the rest for the various scholarships I'm applying to, especially the Homeland Security one.

I also went to the bookstore and flipped my schedule; I have another day of training from 8am to god-knows-when on Wednesday, but the bookstore is on Tuesday (tomorrow) and Thursday. I pray I have Friday off. Something also tells me that ITR might throw a hissy fit over me working at the bookstore this week, but I told Chris O., my supervisor, and though he said this week was allotted for training, he didn't ever tell me what days, what times, FOR SURE. And since the bookstore DID bother to schedule me, I took the opportunity. I can rearrange if necessary, but like I said-- even menial, boring labor at the bookstore is easier than 8 hours of staring at a computer screen.

Seriously-- my eyes are dry. I have checked my email three times, read my Friends List twice, to make sure I was up-to-date, and now I'm updating myself. I've got to go in a few minutes, sit in front of another computer, and watch a Powerpoint presentation.

Augh, I want to sleep!
