An ass-slapping good time
Jun. 26th, 2005 12:39 amAh, so I wasn't exactly looking forward to work-- "C" was going to be there, along with "S," one of the guys that shifts between being oddly nice to me and then turning into a total ass (which he was, tonight). See, "S" offered to take the last 2 hours of my shift, which I highly appreciated... and the manager in charge even let me have a break to eat my bagel/dinner, even though I wasn't legally REQUIRED to have one. I pretty much did a bit of everything tonight --er, last night?-- and had some fun while I was at it.
When I was eating my bagel though, "C" made some wisecrack that nearly had me choking, so I reached behind me (he was going into the freezer) and I slapped him... in the butt. He pokes his head out, grinning in that cute-but-weird way of his, and asked something along the lines of "Did you just slap me in the ass?" or something-- anyway, the blood was rushing to my face so fast that the sound of it going past my ears deafened me to whatever he really said. He noticed I was blushing and smiled more, but since I still had bagel in my mouth, it wasn't as though I could protest that I wasn't AIMING for his butt, and when I hit people like that, it's playful, not violent...
The whole incident had me blushing and laughing the whole night long. I made another interesting discovery, though-- "C" is not the same "C" that I found on a gaming forum --yeah yeah, I did a Google on him and stumbled on a guy with the same name who lives in SoCal. In fact, he tries to "stay away" from gaming-- but his interest is photography! Aside from his totally womanizing personality (a'la Mike), does this sound like anyone else you know? *wince* Am I just attracted to the same kind of guy? It's like the Revised Darien Theory (Eva, you know what I mean...) where the guys I like are all tall, dark-eyed, dark-haired, and at least half-white with an athletic build and a strange (not bad, just strange) attitude. Oy vey...
Earlier on my CD burning spree, I ended up deleting The Sims 2 (I still have the CDs and saved games, plus the old Body Shop) to free up enough space to burn... and Thunderbird, too. I thought I was deleting an old version of the program, but the whole shebang disappeared! Thank goodness all my emails and profile settings were still intact in the Application Data folder...
Anyway, I gotta be at work at 10am THIS morning. That's less than 10 hours away, so... time to go. ;_;
