azurite: (rhapsody_dragon for azurite's what doesn)
Even more review replies, taken directly from the page at Darkness Rising. These review replies would have appeared in Chapter 11. I don't include the actual reviews FOR SOME OF THEM; go to FFnet or MMorg and look at the Review History if you want to see them. If people start reading the fic from the beginning and reviewing for the earlier chapters, I'll update this (and the other) chapter page(s) with replies to them as I see fit.

These replies are new!!

Also, new format for replying to LONG reviews-- I'll post my replies in PLAIN TEXT font, with no italicization or bolding. They'll appear between paragraphs of long reviews!

Another Night )

X_X I just finished re-organizing my emails with old reviews in them, so any other pertinent reviews I find will be added to their respective Review Reply page shortly. Some reviewers also replied to early chapters due to FFnet errors in the review system; I'll try and move those reviews to the right place. It might also take me a bit before I copy the contents of all of these to Darkness Rising; as a rule, my site needs an overhaul and probably won't get one until summer. Sorry!
azurite: (the_sweet - I'm a Maiko!)
So I've decided that on my next stretch of free time, I'm going to do this series of posts on [livejournal.com profile] delishidoodle called Iconista! Like Fashionista, but not. Anyway, since I'm a Photoshop padawan of sorts, I figure I might share some secrets, point to some good tutorials, and reveal some interesting, lesser-known tools of the icon trade. And of course, I'd love help! Links, images, communities, whatever.

I've seen so many funny icons today... seriously, it's inspiring me for yet another set. I've already got too many sets planned. It takes me forever to make icons because I'm so picky (and I'm always distracted), so that's NOT a good thing.

On top of that... yesterday was my first official day of "work" at Jamba Juice, in which much paperwork was involved, and I met two more new hires, Jasmine and Andrew. At the end (toward 8pm), I got to make my own smoothie! It's not as hard as I thought it would be, but since I had to sign all my paperwork (I never sign anything without finishing it), it took me a bit longer, and I felt slightly ignored by the staff. -_- Not nice.

Anyway, I've got an interview at Suncoast today, and if all goes well I will be juggling two summer jobs and raking in the bucks, which I need...
* Paid account for here would be nice
* Manga I'm missing, namely Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist #4
* The Creative Writer's Kit, because you can never have enough writing inspiration

And probably a horseload of other things I can't think of off the top of my head. I also have to get Baba to take me to Payless today, because we SPECIFICALLY must have these "Safe-T shoes" for work. Converse, apparently, are not slip resistant. I go back to work again today from 6-8pm.

Waaaaugh, that means no "Kingdom of Heaven" for me tonight (Scott was planning on going with Baba and Grandpa). And unless I can jimmy the VCR to record again (the extension cord in the rec room SuX0rZ!) I don't want to miss Alias, and Baba and Grandpa wouldn't want to be out that late ANYWAY, so...

...yeah, whatever.

Is it weird of me to feel slightly upset at Scott for not even realizing I'm bummed when we sleep in separate rooms? It's just that we were staying together the past several nights (not doing anything, mind you) and then the one night he goes out with his friends and I'm *coincidentally* (honest) still up, he conks out in his room-- reading my magazine. I go in and all, but he's just all "la la la" in the sense that it never even occurred to him that I might want to stay. I'm one of those types that needs to be ASKED to do that kind of thing, I guess... anyway, I don't want to make a mountain out of a molehill, so whatever.

I have a sore throat anyhow.
