Okay, so I'm between classes now... just finished up a review for Midterm #3 in Astronomy, and I'm actually kind of sad to be leaving the class, because Professor Wallingford just has the greatest sense of humor ever. I wonder if he teaches any of the other science classes I need for my Section B requirement of my GEs, because I would so take one of his courses again (so long as it was something new).
Today I'm supposed to go back to Jamba Juice and check and see if the two other girls (minors) who got hired with me turned in their work permit stuff; if so, we finish going over paper work and start real training. Yay? I also have to call back the guy from Suncoast, and if I end up landing that, I could rake in some serious summer bucks. The drawback is not having all the time in the world to sleep, be lazy, and work on fics, but...well, $$ is always a better incentive.
Scott and I randomly went to Toys 'R Us yesterday, and we ran into Jill, Nikki, and James-- my cousins on my Mom's side of the family. We'd both gone to Jill's for James' birthday party over the weekend, and it was fun even if we weren't there from the start of the festivities. Plus we got to borrow Star Wars: Episode II as part of the deal, and considering I still have a bucketload of questions to be answered, that's a good thing.
There were no good toys at Toys 'R Us for Star Wars though; they're either gone or too kiddy for a fanboy like Scott. ^_~ We also checked out Hot Topic for Star Wars shirts, but all they had was the original trilogy one,and one of Anakin (teen).
I almost had a crisis of conscience while there too; I found a stand of Yu-Gi-Oh cards with one pack of Flaming Eternity just sutting out there, torn open... >_> But I'm an honest girl, dagnabbit, and my thieving days are over! I'm just getting it out of my system by talking about it, I suppose.
Not as many reviews for WDKY16 as I hoped (yet), but then again, "this is the story that never ends" plus it's only been up for two days. I guess all those Review Replies I posted last night (see my memories) got me wishing for some real comprehensive reviews.
Speaking of comprehensive, onward to Sociology, my 2nd favorite course! X_X Eugh, I didn't read either of the chapters, because the only downside to the course is the complicated language in the cheap-ass, ancient textbook...
