Mar. 6th, 2005 07:56 pmSo here's what I'm up to (when I should be doing my homework, but I'll get to that later):
* Trying to figure out how to remedy a "turn off SMTP extension" I get when running Thunderbird. Apparently Thunderbird isn't compatible with McAfee. -_- Gee, well maybe if Micro$hit made their products truly secure, I wouldn't have switched! And hello, tabbed browsing!? It's not that hard... Anyway, I'm waiting to get an activation link from the Mozillazine forums.
* Meanwhile, I downloaded 2 of the original Yu-Gi-Oh series (Ghetto Kaiba, Psycho Yugi, etc.) episodes. They've been nabbed by TV-Nihon, apparently.I wonder if they're subbed? They are. But I got some sort of weird "tracker" error from BitTorrent, and even though I managed to watch the whole opening sequence, it didn't get past that. Do I have to redownload, or maybe view in DivX?
* Also getting episodes 24-49 of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, in one fell swoop. How long was the series total, anyhow? I'll have to burn all these eps to CD, since they total something like 6 GB! ^^;
* Also sorting through my emails, deleting old doubles and checking all the links. Turns out I haven't touched either of my GeoCities pages since 2002, so I need to make a new page indicating where everything is, what's gone, and so forth. I want to use a new image, too, so I'm trying to get as many of the Sailor Moon: Infinity artbook images I can find. The great resource, mahoushoujo/genga, apparently closed down late last year! What a bummer! ;_; But at least UsagiAndMamoru.com are keeping the spirit alive! Thank goodness for fandom revival!
Hrm... I still can't find an online copy of "Lunar Nights." I was hoping I might have uploaded it to Mare Serenitatis, back when it was at GeoShitties, but no luck-- just the old Moyra layout, already butchered. ;_; Looks like I know where my Blockbuster card is going... renting "The Arabian Nights!" Oh, and Terminator 2. o_O
Hey, did you know ASMR now works sort of like FFnet, but somewhat trippier? It actually has Y-u-Gi-Oh fics? Well, since I'm an old fart over there (hee!) I oughta start flooding my account with my newer fics, like YGO! ^_^ Oh, but I do want to start revising my old fics while writing the ones I just never got around to... namely Ranma, but that could be the DoCo/Little Date I'm listening to influencing me. It's not like I have any Ranma to watch-- I can just read whatever's online, or hell, if episodes are online... >_> I kind of doubt that...
Anyway, it's almost 8pm, which means Extreme Home Makeover... and homework. Oh joy. *sigh*
