azurite: (leia pretty dangerous)
Wow, I'm updating. It's only amazing because since Scott got here (and yes, I think you're all allowed to blame him) I've had next to no computer time, let alone time for LJing, webbing, or fanficcing. Which is sad, because I'm finally starting to lock down ideas for Circle of Seven, WDKY's sequel, which means I'm even MORE eager to get this bad girl FINISHED. Yahoo!

I'm trying to remember when I last updated... and what I said, and what's gone on since then. I think:
(1) Serious talks. Between and Scott, really, and much needed/appreciated. I think we're taking some great steps in our relationship, and even if that sounds "too heavy" for a 'ship only five months and some odd weeks old, we're serious about each other. Really serious. And I like it that way. ^_^

(2) BOWLING! After a too-extended break, I saw Rochelle and we hung out at my house for a while-- she sized up Scott, and he passed her "Sorta Onee-chan Test of Doom." So yay! Friend approval of Serious BF is always a wonderful thing. We had some beef teriyaki Rochelle gave to us, and then we headed around town-- Ghirardelli Square, and later on to Serra Bowl with Rochelle's co-worker and my supposed "clone" Rachel-- who is very nice and has cool boots. We also scored some In-N-Out and a Krispy Kreme, but despite my eagerness for them both, they didn't sit too well with me most of the night. But still, I think I bowled well-- and it was fun trying to remember all the Sailor Senshi attack names (dub and Japanese), because that's what I used to do to focus back when I was on the Japantown League here in SF (ah, the "good ol' days..."). Plus there was a bizarre "DDR Megamix" machine, which was really a jacked version of DDR Extreme, with the whole screen tinted red. o_O Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] azhp, you're still #1 on a lot of the Oni Course rank lists...

I finally got Scott to work with me on the "About Us" book he mailed me as a present prior to Christmas, so now we know a bit more about each other, and I'm glad. Still, it'd be even better if we could FINISH the book by the time we leave next Wednesday. (Wow, time flies.) Or get halfway through it, maybe?

We pretty much farted around today and yesterday-- we watched "Mask of Zorro" and went to Trader Joe's; today we watched "The Mummy" and did our laundry. Tomorrow I've gotten together a list of great places for him to see-- everything from Point Lobos and the Sutro Baths ruins to the murals in the Mission District and the Buddha's Universal Temple near Chinatown. ^_^ It should be fun! What I really want to know is, where is that huge hill that Jimbo, Cris (I think it was Cris) and I walked up (and we got ice cream at... Breyers? Dryers? Deweys? S-something?) and there was a FANTASTIC view of the whole bay... uhm, anyone have any ideas?

Anywho, I'd like to finish checking some of my 55 (!) emails and then get to watch a midnight movie with a yummy, clean-smelling Scott in the living room. We both ended up napping earlier today, despite plans to be out and about, so I don't think either of us will be sleeping any time soon. ^_~

I'd like to make ridiculous promises about getting stuff done, but you all know me better than that by now, so I'm just going to bid you adieu, hope you're all well (I'll have a lot of catching up to do later on...) and sign off! Ja!
