Sometimes, time flows by at a very strange rate. The day when Scott came, it went by very quickly. And the next few days, it was slow, and now it's sort of fast-paced again. Yesterday the two of us (very late, unfortunately) met up with Crystal, Steph, Richard, Maggie, and Katia for dim sum at Ocean Restaurant between 8th and 9th on Clement. We'd just had a big breakfast, but it was still good-- and cheap! But afterward, we couldn't really get any plans solidified, plus Steph and Richard had to go their separate ways...
We returned to Crystal's after a while and tried playing Trivial Pursuit, but hardly any of us knew any of the answers, being that it was the classic Genus edition (from 1981!) and no one could get any Pies. So we switched to Cranium, and that was fun-- if a little confusing at first; I liked all the activities. But ice skating was out; even though we wanted to go to the new 4:00 session, by the time we (exempting Katia, she had to go home) got there and everything, it was nearly 5:30, when the session ended, so we putzed around the Metreon some, met up with Harry and his brother... I played Mr. Driller against Scott (I won! ^_^) and some Initial D-- I finally beat Myogi on Ver. 3! (Considering there's only Initial D here and in Winnetka, this is a magical feat!)
After checking out some more Chronicle Books (so many that I want!) we left... but it was only 7:30! For some reason though, I've been getting the "mopes." You know, just being sad for no real reason? The bus ride was like that, all quiet and sad and contemplative-- plus Scott hasn't been feeling well, and I, therefore, feel bad.
Well, things are somewhat better now-- as always, talking, sleeping, and eating always do us good. We're going to swing by and see my Dad and Kathleen in Petaluma at the new home on the ranch; I hope to meet Roy the "fuzzy rock" cat. He's a real cat, he just acts like a fuzzy rock, according to my dad. It's nearly noon though, and we want to catch one of the 1 o'clock hour buses... X_X so I better get going. I hate not being able to upload Mamono's super-cool (undoubtedly so, even though I haven't had the chance to look at it yet-- sorry Mamono!) mood icon set that she made me, or work on the last three measly scenes from WDKY15. Grr, I will get around to it!
Tomorrow I have to call the Financial Aid office and:
* Ask about the Cal Grant verification form
* Ask about where to send my ScholarShare money/check/info at CSUN
* Ask when I'll get my balance check
Plus I have to call someone (I knew I shouldn't have deleted that voicemail!) from the Sundial and talk about a possible interview for the Online Editor position! Whee! ^_^ Scott thinks that'll suck up all my time, and I admit, that WAS somewhat of my original intention, but who knows? Time will fly, and fun will be had. o_O I think Scott just finished (or is getting close to it) the dishes, so I really better get hopping--
Oh, check out AnimeNfo.com and look for Peach Girl-- looks like the anime is doing the Miwa Ueda's gorgeous artwork some justice! Yatta~!
