Who can name where that quote came from? Series, season, and episode number? Whoever's first/correct can either:
a) have me make them a fanart of the (female) character of their choice
b) have me design them a banner and 2 matching buttons
OR
c) have me write a drabble/ficlet revolving around the plot/quote/pairing of their choice (yaoi exempted).

Whoo-hoo! Anzu Mazaki is back from the Yu-Gi-Oh World Championships! What a day! I woke up waaaay too early (6:41am), and decided to get up anyway. So I took my shower and got dressed-- but last night, I couldn't find my Yugi/Marik/Kaiba shirt (black), so I gave up and decided to go in "unofficial cosplay," which is basically the same outfit I wore at Fanime, minus the duel disk.

James showed up right on time after 7:45-- and of course, everyone decided to wolf down my Special K. Le sigh... I do NOT want to survive off bran cereal. Blech. I'm not exactly a Froot Loops 24/7 person, but still-- I want my own cereal! Is that too much to ask? I mean, really. Well, this is about the time when Dad, who pretends to know how to use a computer but is a putz about the basics, decides to break the Internet connection. He had me create separate accounts for Baba, Grandpa, Erin, and Guests-- and I'm the acting Admin, since I'm the only one that knows how to work this damn comp.

World Champion! )

Today I woke up early again (well, 8:40 is pretty early for me on a summer schedule) due to the noisy ass garbage trucks. They have THREE separate trucks that come to pick up everything. How annoying! *le sigh* All the more reason to get up in the morning, I guess. After I'd gotten ready, Dad and I headed back to the Screen Shop to fix the rec room screens, to My Hero for subs, and then to CSUN for walking around. The arcade was closed off, but I did get to see the various pools, and I got to meet the publisher of the Daily Sundial, the CSUN newspaper. ^_^ They said I can work as a freelancer once school starts! But I am more into Magazine journalism than the newspaper, so... we'll see.

After many hours walking around CSUN (burning sweat + lots of walking = weight loss! whoo hoo!), Dad and I went to pick up the screens, and then back home. We set up my desk (it looks great!) and ... later Grace called! She's only in town today, but we had fun at the Winnetka Pacific Theaters arcade. Not very big, but they have DDR Extreme, Initial D Version 3 (whoo hoo, I beat Kenji! Only one more and I'll beat Myogi AGAIN!!!), and Guitar Freaks 10th. I really like the song "Saccharine Smile." For some reason I see it as being a good songfic-type song, but I'm not sure for who...

She's got a Saccharine Smile... )

Tomorrow I have to finish assembling the furniture and helping out with lord knows what else-- I'm officially broke again, so I really have to get around to doing that job hunt. Wednesday is when my bed arrives, the dentist appointment (GAAAH!) and at 6pm, a screening of a movie at Winnetka, if I can get a ride there or something. I'd need to go BACK to Winnetka to get the form that has the number that you have to call to be admitted. -_-

Yep. Thanks to David, I also got my PS2 set up. How weird is it-- Channel 91, to play games. I even got a chance to explain the mechanics of Yu-Gi-Oh to Dad, but I still lost the duel with Mako-- I really need to go back and play Téa and Tristan again. And, speaking of our two underused charas, I really need to read a fanfic right about now...
