*sniff* It's the last day of my "vacation" of sorts... I haven't worked since last Wednesday, and it's never been more blissful. True, there were some annoying phone calls earlier that woke me up (but I didn't answer the phone, so nyah! Caller Screening!) but that's hardly anything to whine over.
The brand-spankin' new layout for Souten: The Azure Sky is now up-- I'm just working on sorting through the hundreds of links on the Links page. XENU did great finding the broken links and all, but the problem lies in the fact that I still have to sort the links by category and somehow prune out the ones that XENU found as broken --without trashing my layout or existing categories. :P The XENU Report doesn't maintain the status of the page the links were found in, sadly.
I'm also almost done with the new Mare Serenitatis layout, but I have to sort through the giganimous pile of pages so everything fits into an iFrame. I <3 iFrames!
Watched "The Mummy Returns" earlier today, and I guess a few of the plotholes I'd found last night with the first movie were explained. Apparently Anck-su-amun wasn't brought back to life, she was reincarnated in Meela, same as Evelyn was the reincarnation of Princess Nefertiri. But what I'd like to know is, if she didn't have her memories of the past, why would she *AT ALL* be interested in the ressurection of Imhotep-- and for that matter, how would she have known about the O'Connells? Nine years passed since the original Mummy events... so why now? Hmm, hmm, HMM! I wonder if there really is an Egyptian New Year/Year of the Scorpion.
Also... Got provisionally accepted into CSUN! Okay, so it's not halfway as exciting as all of Will's acceptance letters to SJSU, SFSU, and of course UCSC (that's *3* people I know going there now...). But hey, an acceptance is always a good thing! What confuses me is that the letter seems to imply that I'm still taking classes, and I have to maintain my GPA, yadda yadda... HUH? I'm not in any classes, I have no GPA to maintain! I don't want to jinx this acceptance --but, I won't hear from USC until April, I still have to recieve info about USC Financial Aid (and MAIL it!) and also see what I get for a CalGrant! The thing is, since the budget cuts, CSUN has enacted this enrollment management that picks students depending on what high school they went to. By all rights and purposes, they should have said "No, go to SFSU" or just kept me on the waiting list... but they bumped me right from the waiting list into provisionally accepted. o_O I don't know whether it's because Wash sends people to CSUN (I doubt it) or whether it's because my family's gone there for a while (...maybe?). O_O I wanna get in!!
I'm looking for Photoshop brushes that look like lipstick kiss marks. Would anyone know where I could find such brushes? Short of kissing a piece of paper myself and scanning the image in... ^^;; I already checked vBrush; the only search result is down. :P
Found some cute Yu-Gi-Oh humor images... some doujin scans, some fanart, some oekaki. One of Isis dangling a Chibi-Seto from her fingers like a marionette got me wanting to do a Tea squeezing-the-living-daylights out of a Chibi-Seto. ^_^ You might see it soon on BEA.
Speaking of BEA, we're only 2 or 3 people shy of the 50 members mark! Whoo-hoo! And all without being listed on TFL.org, YAH! Some people want to see various sections (I think I mentioned this before)... things like Evidence (pictures/scenes) and such. I still have to update all the fic sections, and add that ONE piece of fanart I have.
