Gah, I had another freaky dream today... er, well, last night. I remembered more when I intially woke up early this morning, but now all I remember is a bunch of long window sills littered with cut-off feet from crows and pigeons... and wings. Cut off wings, with the feathers still on. Gross, huh? I wonder what it means.
;_; It sucks that I'm down to $8.50 or so in my bank accounts... damn you Kinokuniya, tempting me with your manga goodness! I suckered and got Shonen Jump April (OMG, Mamono! You were right! But chibi-Seto is pretty kawaii...) and Hot Gimmick #2 (I'm beginning to like Ryoki and hate Azusa. Something is horribly wrong here). Also snagged Yu-Gi-Oh #36... sadly, Seto has a bit part in this only, but when Volume 37 comes out!!!! O_O! WHEE~ I should just resign myself and get the newest Shonen Jump (J) so I can read along with Janime's translations... see for myself all the battle results. *snifflepoo*
Yesterday I visited Dad in Alameda-- he'd wanted me to be there uber early, but I went to bed the night before feeling ultra sick, and I ended up sleeping 12 hours. X_X That's the second or third time this week that's happened, and it can't be healthy. I'll feel lousy before going to sleep at what is (for me) an ungodly early hour, and I wake up feeling fine. But staying awake is getting harder and harder... :P
*cough* Anyway, so all the students in Dad's woodshop were utterly baffled by my presence. Dad said they kept pestering him as to find out whether or not I was related/how I was related to him (we made a joke out of it; I said we shared a "few genes, somewhere down the line" and he said "You think I'm old enough to have a daughter *her* age?") ... :DDD Haha. I stayed in the Library Teacher Lounge trying to sort out the USC Financial Aid papers (GAUGH! And I know they're late...) and reading all my "How to Write Romance" books. These refreshers are quite nice, you know? Later on, I got Dad's logon and tried to go onto FFnet, but AHS' restrictions are worse than SFUSD's... Yeesh. I wrote an outline for my first column though-- I wanna get writing!
Also in the works-- I finally got working on the tail-end of Souten: The Azure Sky... you know, my main website's turnpike to all my other sites. X_X There are a lot of sites that are "COMING SOON!" I need ideas for titles... not to mention layouts. I can't make layouts for each and every one! I still have to put all the info in! Anyway, I'm almost done with Souten; I just need to fix the Links page; it's VEEEERY long and needs some tidying up. I have to check all the broken links and rename as appropriate. X_O Hey, I can use XENU for that, can't I? :O Why didn't I think of that before...?
I have to blank-ize the Ceres (Genesis) layout -among others- for use at layout websites, including my own upcoming Souten Studios! Phwee!
Lastly... I've figured out why I'm at a standstill for WDKY9. Aside from my column ideas distracting me, my thoughts keep wandering to the *sequel* of WDKY and all these scenes I want to do. ;_; It's driving me nuts, because it's so far away! *whines* I need like, clones of myself or something.
I'm itching for a good duel; Joe finally gave me the cards I paid for. I forgot how few cards there were (only 5 cards...) but they're SUPER COOL (as the dork in me admits) so I might try dueling among some people first, and then trying for the C&C Tournaments. :DDD Female power representin'! There's two new Starter Decks out; Tim says the Yugi deck is better than Kaiba (which is why Yugi's is more expensive) but I want to see what cards are in either before I buy. Plus I haven't gotten many Dark Crisis cards yet, and Invasion of Chaos comes out soon!!!!!
Also... last night was both the Fun Committee meeting (Adam M. ate most of the candy Tracey bought!) ... Mark wasn't there. Good thing/Bad thing? Uhm... >_> Yeah, that was pretty okay. It took a while though, and when I finally made it to FX, I caught the tail end of Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu! ;_; I wanna see more of that series! >_> I wonder if Niichan would be willing to burn what he has for me for a birthday present...
Yeah, you know my Last Year as a Teenager is looming upon me. April 14th, yo! A little over a month. I wanna do something, as I always do, but what? I need to make plans now so I can come up with something for a day off, etc.
Anime FX-- more of the bizarre... this time, "Tamala 2010." I'm going to make some CATTY & CO. Approved LJ-icons, since even though it was one of those anime that's all post-modern and "Am I supposed to understand it, or was the experience enough?" kind of movies. "Legend of Black Heaven" is so chock-full of sexual innuendoes and stupidity that it's starting to grow on me; as if the opening song "You Are My Instigator" wasn't enough. I love a good rock song.
:P Oh, and got ANOTHER idea for a Yu-Gi-Oh fic thanks to the Anime FX showings... this time inspired by that Mezzo anime... the one with Mikura-chan and the DSA(?) *and* Tamala 2010. Yeah, the fic is temp-titled "Maelstrom" and... well, it's a freaky supernatural romance. I haven't written a word of it yet. I have to work on WDKY!
I'm pissed! The Upper Deck Entertainment Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament for College Scholarships was apparently unapproved and totallyUNlegit! ARGH!!! >_
