This is the snot that never ends...

I hate being sick. I HATE IT! Even if it means I don't have to work... well, that's probably just for today. I'm not feeling any better than I did yesterday; my nose is still stuffy, but running like a leaky faucet, if that makes any sense. Worse, I can't seem to get any sleep; I went to bed at 2am this morning (I'd gotten my FFX and KH guides, so I played until I died) and then found myself wide awake at 7am! 5 stinkin' hours! I took a nap from 11:40 to 3ish, I guess... but it was sporadic and not that comfortable on the couch.

I ended up watching Lion King and Aladdin, then Yu-Gi-Oh (even though it was a repeat of the episode where everyone gets dumped into the VR world Noah created) ... Home Improvement for an hour, now I'm here. Took my Amoxicillin and Loratadine (Claratin), but... >_< My nose hella hurts. On the bright side, Jen Corbett was nice enough to let me off today, and Jen Chambers said it's okay for tomorrow, too. I'm really contagious; I don't know why they'd WANT *me* at work anyway. -.- Oh yeah, because I've got the open availibility schedule. :P

So yeah, my nose still hurts.. it's raw and red (slap some antlers on me and call me Rudolph!) but I have to think positive. -.- I'm sick of orange juice and chicken noodle soup, though.

Okay, so it's a little better. My hearing is somewhat shot, still, which sucks, since I listen to music while I'm online and working on fics. And, wanting to work on WDKY9 required me to go back and check for all the revisions I needed to make, so I'm logging them here, as I make them...

(3) - Revised a few sentences where the grammar was wrong; added a bit more description where Tea and Joey's tuition was concerned. Also revised the part where Tea was touring the house; created a mini blueprint of the top floor of the Kaiba mansion, including all the bedrooms. Noted important dates (Aug 8, Aug 16, Aug 24) and ages (Mokuba is 10 and 1 month by Chapter 4; this means during Duelist Kingdom and Battle City, he was 9 or so years old.) I worry about the overall ages of the characters; I'm not sure whether this holds true for all Japanese students, but since their school year differs from the "standard" one (Aug/Sept-Jun), I'm letting the fact that several charas. will be 19 by their 3rd year of HS.'

References made:
* Tea's one precious belonging is that of her mother's sapphire necklace
* Battle City is considered the point when Tea really got to know Mokuba; we're saying it occured in Summer (Jun-Jul)
* This means that Tea & Co. were in 2nd year HS by April of that same year; Duelist Kingdom had to be BEFORE THAT (or towards the end of the 1st year, in March or so).

(4) - Revised unclear pronoun usage ("he" to "Mokuba," etc.) and fixed a few other grammar mistakes.

--> I'm going to upload these fixes tomorrow. I want to make sure I didn't miss anything. Chapters 5-6 have the most edits; ones I found long before tonight, and they also include a lot of references. I'll probably try and revise the Official WDKY page with this Changelog, and maybe add a few (n)Faq to the Interview section about what the references might lead up to. :)
