I've accepted that I'm going crazy...

You think English and Asian languages are hard to learn? Try ENGRISH! :P I've been searching for the "correct" version of Jade (from Sweetbox)'s lyrics to "Real Emotion" from the US release of FFX-2 for a while now, and everywhere I go, there's a million different versions! Maybe because Koda Kumi also did an English release, but it was never used for the game; only her Japanese version was.

And so not finding anything remotely like the MP3 I have of Jade singing, I've decided to make the attempt to transcribe on my own. Not having the game, I have no idea whether my version of the MP3 is even the one from the game, let alone the correct lyrics (don't they have subtitles in that cut scene?). So... here I go!

At least Utada Hikaru speaks English. The only reason why S&C didn't make sense was because it was the theme for Kingdom Hearts. :P At least "Hikari" made sense for the Japanese release!

Uh... I never got a call back from Joanna. So I'm going to call work at 10-something tomorrow when I wake up, ask if I still have a shift tomorrow. :P Something tells me I will... which is sad, because I'm actually in the mood for getting things done. Like my laundry. And cleaning my room. :P Offer of $50 still stands for anyone who wants to spend a day with Mer and clean my room! ^_^ Free food, too. :D

I started this weird project of sorts; going through FFnet and trying to find decently written, coherent, non-yaoi, bash-free, canon-ish Seto/Tea fics. The filter is basically for all Romance genre fics rated G-R, of any length, with the Update Date as the Date Ascending. So far I've found a few, but... mostly icky yaoi. I'm sorry, yaoi for some fandoms is well and good (FAKE much!?) but for Yu-Gi-Oh!? And for Seto and Joey?! *cries* It's HORRIBLE!!! ;_; I think I speak for all the Kazuki Takahashis out there when I say "BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!" :P Sorry. For that fandom... euch. It just pisses me off.

Anyway, I'm on page 45 of 207. Hahaha...

Back to WDKY8. Still no help from the PHP-Princess boards about why I keep getting the error. I don't want to have to switch to another script, not after I spent so much time getting things to look right and work-- and the script actually DID work for a minute! :P I think I must have done something wrong, so maybe I need one-on-one help from Daynah (I wish). It's either that or look for other boards for support, or be a bit more patient. :P Grrrr...

PHP = Pretty Hellacious Programming

GAUGH! I still can't figure out what's wrong with my PHP... I tried reinstalling the stuff on my server, but I just got an error. ;_; I hope I haven't f*d things up beyond belief, because I really don't feel like having to do everything again... :P And switching to PHPFanbase is an option, but... Gah. I want to get the fanlisting up by the 10th!! HEEELP! I wonder if I really *am* supposed to use the connection string that was provided by my host, rather than the one Daynah wrote. And am I supposed to change the variables in the connection string too, or just in the space above it?? >_<

Joanna DID take my shift today-- and she called me right as I was leaving my house. Talk abut karmic. I went back inside, called work to make sure they knew, and went right back to sleep-- until after 2:30 or something. I felt pretty icky all day, and I still feel kind of out of it for some reason; I can't get warmed up at all, and I've lost my appetite. ;_; NOOOO! SUX0RZ.

I work 12-615 the rest of the week, anyway-- leastwise, 'till Friday. I find out what my new shifts for the coming week are tomorrow.

Amber called me today! ^_^ Which was cool-- talking to her again. :P I'd like to hang out with her, maybe see a movie. Hey, "Torque" is coming out on the 19th, I think. Plus "The Perfect Score" on the 30th (originally supposed to be the 16th; I wonder why they changed it?). Maybe we could see one of those? I should see movies more often. Heck, "Big Fish" looks kinda cool. You know that SF's one of the "select cities" it's been released in? It's actually NOT out nationwide yet. o_O We've had it for over 2 weeks, though... :P

WDKY8's coming along... slowly. But I was messing around with my scanner today, and scanned in a BUNCH of Fanart-- most of it of Tea/Anzu, with a few Tsukushi Makino (Hana Yori Dango) thrown in there for fun. All of the pics need serious editing (and coversion from *.tif format, too!) but hey, at least I have them uploaded, now! Whoo hoo!

Name some famous (recent) ad campaigns. You know, like the "What's your anti-drug" one, "For everything else, there's MasterCard," and so forth.

I want my next paycheck to come soon. I want to blow it all on buying clothes from GFLA (Camo pants, leather pants, bodice top... ^_^ *dr00l* Such non-winter-y clothes) and getting an iPod.

Hmm... yeah. Gonna go back to my Fic-Hunt project, WDKY8, IMing peeps, and readin' email. Tres joy!
