Brain numb ... can't think ...

I got a call at 9:40am from AMC's Homc Office-- but I don't know why they called. I called back, but I just ended up leaving a message. O_O WTF could Corporate want with me!? *terrified*
Worse, I've been horribly misled-- there *is* no Foriegn Language Waiver exam. I'm not sure if that's just CSUN or ALL the CSUs or what, but I thought there was a way to get your foriegn language requirement waived, and the only way to prove 2+ years of competency in a language is to take an exam, yes? And this woman goes and tells me that there IS no exam? So pretty much, I'm screwed on both fronts. They'll see that D in Japanese and say "Nope, Sorry." I'd say I "made it up" at CCSF, but they'll do the same thing SFSU did, and say that it was a different course (Japanese 1A instead of High School level Japanese 4) -- even though no other Japanese courses were available at the time! And then they'll say because I graduated last June, I'm no longer a Freshman, but a Lower Division Transfer, and they NEVER accept Lower Division Transfers! So all my money, my time, my plans of going to CSUN will be DOWN THE HOLE!
;_; And they have an even better Journalism department than SFSU! Don't get me wrong, I'm still at least WILLING to stay in SF for 2 years, go to CCSF with some of my friends and get the credits needed for SFSU... heck, I'd get to stay here in the city with my friends... I could put up with Mom for a while (if need be, I COULD look for an apartment, but only if I shared with other people).
*sigh* Still, this just makes icky things worse. I hate telling people I'm not in school; I'd lie, but you know me, and I DO NOT LIE! I've been wanting to be in school all this time-- I was supposed to be starting NO! But nooo, now there's all these problems and... *sigh* What do I do????

rq_version2, I have to go back as far as 200 entries in order to read my Friends' entries. So many people asking random questions. That IS the point, and why I like the community, but it's a touch bit irritating when tons of people reply with "Huh?" "Wha?" or "I dunno." -.-;
I was wondering what you call something that retracts into itself-- you know, like an antenna? Or what do you call the bottom bit that the top bits slide into? Or the indentation made in the (usually metal) material to serve this purpose? Anyone know? If not, I'm sticking with "retractable" object.
David actually called me. I'm kinda shocked. We actually talked on the phone for a good half hour (34 minutes, but who's counting?) about random stuff-- the city, dogs, computers, Yahoo! email, AOL is annoying... X_X How strange. I felt pretty awkward, but talking on the phone is communication, and communication is something I need to work at. ^^; T'will be my major after all, eh?
Anyone here know PHP? My fanlisting is having errors, and I have no idea why. I set everything up according to the instructions, took a horrendously long time making a painstakingly precise layout, and I even got it to work -- but I deleted one entry from my PHPmyAdmin panel, since the entry was a test (and an incorrect one, at that) -- and now the thing won't work! I took the issue to the PHP-Princess Boards, but so far no one's replied with any solid answer. Anyone with experience in this field, please, please, please do me a favor and contact me; I desperately need to get the FL online.
Ah hah! Finally figured out MiRC for Selene_Scans. Yay to that. Thanks to nuri_inuki. More people randomness-- someone fromrq_version2 might know me; he replied to my question saying "Please tell me your name isn't Meredith." o_O He's from New Jersey. I wonder if he knows me through Mike? But I don't know anyone from Jersey named Lloyd... @_O "Curiouser and curiouser."
I need to get Kingdom Hearts and FFX strategy guides. :P Darn forest, darn Al-Behd! Gaaah.
Yeaaah... I should work on WDKY8 and nap some more, and try to clean my room-- 'specially if Joanna didn't succeed in switching shifts with me tomorrow. Or taking my shift, as it were. I need another day off.
