azurite: (please die)
Eh, I'm not tired at all. I woke up probably around 9:30 last night, and aren't the least bit tired even now, though I'm still a little sore in my shoulder and head. It sort of feels like I have water inside my brain when I "bop" my head to the side.

So onee-chan has helped me out momentously by changing some of the dead links on my page... I still have a lot of fixing to do with A.I.org though, as I said before. But XENU's making it easier-- and gawd, don't I sound like an advertisement? I think I'll head to the library today, and call Lonnie back, too. x_X

Just finished reading "For Unto Us, A Child Is Born" a Sailormoon/Evangelion fic by LeVar Bouyer. It sounds whack, but seriously, it worked, and almost perfectly. I was surprised by how I kept reading it almost obsessively-- it's just a oneshot, and really just the taking of a sole SM character into the Eva universe... but the author does it almost seamlessly. And considering I STILL don't understand Eva very well, I thought that it kept true to THAT side of the universe as well. It was just good. X_X

Deleted some old junk files from the Non-Working Files parts of my computer, and shifted some old files around, too. Found an old Fanfiction Feature that I should eventually get around to put up at Viva Forever. o_O I can't really use Viva Forever as a feature site just for Mare Serenitatis (Sailormoon) anymore; the features are fairly general, exempting the Birthday Feature, which is really just a series of indepth profiles on the Senshi and Tuxedo Kamen. So ... lots of rearranging to be done there. My plan is to get it ALL done on my computer first, then upload it to the internet, so there's not so much confusion. It'll take longer that way, but... assuming I don't suddenly get a virus, then all should be well. I have enough CDs to burn backup copies, at any rate.

Still have to find grants/financial aid, apply to SFSU (once I get my stupid CCSF grade!), and work on the co-fics. I haven't talked to either Chibi or Siggy lately, unfortunately, so it's likely that PSV and Spooferlicious will be on hold for the time being.

You know, finding GOOD Hana Yori Dango fics is hard. So far, I've found two that I really like-- two authors, at any rate. Jennifer Wand, of course, who is already famous in my mind because of her stint in the Sailormoon fandom, and is just as fabulous with HYD... and jade, who has two masterpieces already. Chibi Ryoma did a good job with "Around the World," too, and it turns around she's doing a second Book to it, so YAY! ~_~ What can I say, even though I haven't actually read a complete volume of the manga (unless you count the translations, but you know, a lot of those are incomplete!) or watched a sole episode of the anime (seen screencaps, and I even have a fantastic idea for an AMV!) I still intend on making a website for it, and already I have deemed myself a Tsukushi/Tsukasa 'shipper. They're utterly canon, so why not!? ^_^

Never did get around to watching Casablanca though; I played EXILE and successfully completed the first puzzle. Call me a cheater, I did get a slight walkthrough guide, but all it really did was clear up some things I was already playing with. So I have access to this place called the Rainbow Room (sounds like a room in a political building... or a cafe in the Castro) and there's this odd puzzle... more animal, color, and shape puzzles in this. And I thought RIVEN was bad. Did I ever tell you guys that I was on the LAST part, and my mom walked in and solved the puzzle for me, without having played the game AT ALL!? I was infuriated, so I have to do this one all on my own, without any of HER help!

~_~ What else is there? I tried doing a Photoshop representation of how I want my rearranged room to look, but I'm bad at keeping perspective in mind. I might just have to trash all my wonderful work and do a simple line drawing on paper. Matter of fact, why don't I do something like that now, for the current state of my room?:

As seen here, this is my room... minus a few boxes, crates, and oh yeah, the MESS! ^^; So I want to rearrange stuff. I thought of putting my desk where the Bookcase 2 is, but then I wanted to keep it Feng Shui AND realistic-- i.e. I want to be able to see who comes into my room, ergo, I should have my desk FACING the door. No one ever comes in through the Sunroom door anyway; it's blocked off on the other side by a bookcase. Also, it's considered bad luck or somesuch to have the foot of your bed facing the door you walk in and out of; that's how Buddhist priests remove dead bodies from their rooms (?). So I'm kind of stuck here. One thing's for sure, I don't want my bed in the middle of the room anymore-- it slides everywhere, the blankets always fall... blah, blah, it's got to be against a wall.

Having two dressers that a) look nothing alike and b) are different dimensions makes things hard; likewise, so does having two bookcases, one horizontal, one vertical. And then there's me, sick of my bed that's older than I am, not to mention all the other boxes and stuff cluttering every space. I need to get rid of a LOT of clothes (*coughcough*graduation gown from 8th grade!*coughcough*) and stuff... Anyone have tips on redecorating, rearranging, maintaining mess-less-ness, and Feng Shui (speaking of which, do you really pronounce it to rhyme with "tongue sway?")...?

Ho hum... I want to get back to this other great HYD fic by jade, Boys over teh High Seas. And food would be nice. Blah, I should have asked mom to give me money before leaving, that way I could get lunch downtown and go to the library... in any order...

I want to make Kiss Dolls, too. @_@ Photoshop MANIA, I tell you! INSANITY!!! My ears hurt. I need new speakers.

Well, hehe.
