So, I'm finally back from school... I finally got around to leaving after 4:30, a half hour after I thought I would. I still went to Border's and McDonald's at Stonestown, but Border's was sold out of "Wicked." I'm not done reading the copy I have yet (I will be soon) so I guess it's no big deal. But since I had $20 leftover from the grocery spree last night (in addition to the $15 I set aside for the new copy of the book) I got myself a "Slambook," the first of three. It looks to be pretty entertaining, so I'll haul it wherever I'm with friends, so we have something to do and laugh about. The questions are pretty funny, and I've found myself stumped a few times already. I have the pink one "Personals" and am going to collect the Blue "Hypotheticals" and the Yellow "Pop Culture" ones when I have the $20 to throw around. Damn Border's always puts the cool stuff at the front of the store! *whine* Journals, scrapbooks, manga...! AUGH!

I was only 10 minutes late to class, so I didn't miss much, but apparently missing last Thursday put a crimp in my homework schedule, and I had to scramble to finish off 4 worksheets in 20 minutes. Since I'm one of the two advanced students in the class, Sensei never called on me, so when she did today, I wasn't aware... and someone pointed out that "she's busy" (referring to me, still working on my homework) when Sensei asked about who was supposed to put a certain word on the board. -.- Worse, when I got over my initial embarassment and went up there, Sensei criticized my hiragana, saying my 'u' went up too much! -.-;

Thankfully class ended early, and it wasn't too dark out yet. I was surprised the sun set when it did; last night it didn't set till around 9:13, but today it set even earlier, around 9:00 or sooner. =P Maybe it's 'cause CCSF's on a hill? Well, I got my quizzes, worksheets, and homework all finished-- made up the quiz from last week too. We've gotten a bit harder, but I assume that's because in a matter of ONE MONTH (and with meetings only twice a week, that's sooner than it sounds) we're finishing. @_@ I wonder how I'm going to transfer the CCSF credits to my transcript when I apply to SFSU in the Spring... Why does this process have to be so damned complicated?

Blah, and Jonathan didn't call. Being my whacked self, I'm coming up with all these ridiculous situiations about why he wouldn't call. Like maybe camp got extended... or maybe Mike was right, and band camp really is Sex Ed 101! Then Jonathan would come back not interested in me at all! *pout* But what are the chances of that, really? (Besides people, this is Jonathan, the boy who didn't get the meaning of unwrapping a Starburst wrapper with your tongue until we made it blatantly obvious!)

So I've been staring at my phone most of today, holding onto it while it's in my pocket, hypothesizing all these things (it's something very Eva-ish, and I used to tell her to quit all her "What If" ing, but now here I am doing it myself! AUGH!) and then of all people to call... Joe. Not that I mind or anything, but I was just so set on finally talking to Jonathan, hoping he'd REMEMBER me. One week away at band camp, maybe he forgot all about me! Or what he said-- that he'd come up with something fun for the both of us to do this week, and he'd give me a call and we'd go out. Blah, listen to me, I sound so dependent. But I wouldn't mind-- I mean, I really have missed Jonathan a lot lately. So tomorrow morning (hah-- afternoon!) when I wake up, I'll call him. That is, if he hasn't called me first. Yes, I'm still terrified of someone OTHER than Jonathan answering the phone, but *swallow* I've done professional phone calls before, and ... I can do something LIKE them again, if need be. Right?

Yeah, anyway. So there's some LJ party on Saturday, and maybe I'll go to that. Maybe. I dunno. Depends on what everyone plans on doing. We all know what happened at the LAST LJ party, now don't we? Blah, I have no desire to recall that. But hey, I did meet some cool people [other than the one I would love to stake repeatedly] then. We'll just have to see how this week goes. Tomorrow I guess I'll be going to Will's to help him with his car... I found it weird that he called and asked me along, but in his LJ entry, it seemed he only wanted Amber to come. I've left messages on her cell, tried to talk to her online, and I tried calling her today, too. -.- First time, she never got my phone message. Online, she was drunk, and then wandered off, leaving Shilo on the IM. Then today, someone that sounded like either a 4-year-old or someone on helium answered, telling me Amber wasn't home. At 9:45 at night. -.- So I doubt she'll get back to me tomorrow anyway. Will, do you mind if it's just me that comes, 'cause I can't contact Amber!

I still wanna watch all those movies with Aaron too, and arrange some meeting with Jonathan. Maybe on Friday we can go to RTA together or something? ^^; Hehe, it'd be fun to play the Shooting Gallery or Time Crisis III with him-- he's supposedly quite good with a rifle. ^_^v Mike's still not talking to me or whatever, and fine with me... guess he won't be getting the CD he wanted burned. I was willing to do it, too. Sad thing is, I almost thought of buying him a present today [for no good reason] -- a book I saw at Border's about bartending. It looked cool, but whatever.

a poorly made quiz, but entertaining nonetheless )

Hmm, update-ish-ness. I finally updated Snapshot so now it has a new layout with text links to all the photos. Plus there's 93 pictures, instead of 63! W00t! More will be coming soon; I still have 2 CDs to play with, not to mention 2 MORE cameras to get developed sometime soon. ^_^ YAY! What else have I worked on? The new layout of SMRFF, featuring iFrames-- that should be done soon, once I'm done coding the CSS and I figure out how I want to deal with the borders and subpages. I really want to get back to work on translating Hinata 120%, even if the manga doesn't thrill me as much anymore, and I do want to work on PSV. @_@ Gah, so much to do... and I DEFINITELY want to work more on Star Ocean 2, along with my "Perfect World" fic-- which I've been brainstorming for since yesterday. ^_^ Whee! Now to get my hands on the rest of the manga and the drama CD [synopses]!

x_X For some reason I'm feeling pretty tired and even somewhat ill (damn McDonald's... more than once a week isn't good!) so maybe I'll just get that map of the Cave of Trials and then crash on the couch to play SO2. Yeah, that sounds like a plan.

I have too many ideas for potential performances at Der Cosplay '04 that I will never have the guts/organizational powers to pull off. I always wanted to do a huge, live, cosplay version of "Odorikuruu" or "Stop The Rock" since they're huge multi-anime, dance-related AMVs that were very popular with the con-crowds. Too bad I'll never be able to do it. =P

i love clown fish. )

At Fanime I sang Karaoke with Grace once ("White Destiny" from Shinshirayuki Hime Denetsu Pretear) and with Amber, Grace, and some off-key girl ("Melodies of Life" from Final Fantasy). Some guys sang "Wind's Nocturne," which I just finished listening to... it's a sweet song, and I'd like to try my hand at singing it sometime. Too bad kareoke places don't have American game music! Then I'd sing "Simple and Clean," "Melodies of Life," AND "Wind's Nocturne!" ^_^; I've been listening to game music too much lately, ne?

Scary how this may be accurate. I think whenever I really do need to be explicit or bash someone, I always do it in secure entries. =P So blah.
